White Scaur Annexe is a self-contained, stand-alone building with a first floor modern apartment situated in an idyllic rural setting in the Lake District National Park, near the village of Bassenthwaite. Located off a private cul de sac, nestled in a wooded area, the apartment offers guests both peace and tranquility during their stay. The apartment has everything guests need for short weekend or week long breaks. The apartment sleeps 2 guests, and is best suited to couples of individuals.

Recently renovated, central heated a cosy base with views of Skiddaw , Longlands Fell and Binsey. Uldale is a farming community with excellent tearoom, open daily, and a community kids playground and tennis court. Ireby 2 miles away has a dining pub ,Caldbeck has good shops, pub and cafes ,a brewery and Distillery close by too.

Just outside the Lake District National Park but within a 30 minute drive of Keswick you get the best of both worlds of exploring the attractions of the Northen Lake District and the Solway Coast with its quaint seaside towns. The Ewe was new to 2024 and is the perfect dog friendly Lake District getaway for couples. The Ewe is a bespoke luxury shepherds hut which comes with double opening front doors, underfloor heating, a king sized bed, fully fitted kitchen and an en-suite. This hut is a genuine all-year round getaway option. The Ewe is situated in a secluded woodland area with fantastic views of fells, fresh pastures and woodland which is packed with British wildlife, especially our famous red squirrels.

The perfect romantic retreat, Swallows Rest, is a converted 18th century hay barn. Belonging to the 17th century Grade II listed High Greenrigg House, it offers all the modern conveniences whilst retaining the character of such an historic building. The ground floor contains an open plan living room, dining area and fully fitted kitchen. There is a utility room accessed via a low stone doorframe. Upstairs is a mezzanine floor with king size bed, balcony and luxurious shower room

The nearest Wainwright (Binsey) is walkable from the front door. The house is 4/5 bedrooms, has a large family dining table, 3 lounges, each with stoves (one convertible to a bedroom).

The hut has no electricity but has solar lights, and a separate composting toilet, all bed linen is provide along with wood for the stove. A breakfast hamper will be delivered to your door in the morning

Glamping barn. A traditional barn divided into two, available to book individualy for six or together for twelve. This is for The Byre if you would like to book for a group of twelve please also book Thorny crag. Only accessible by foot 1/2 mile walk. Located on the Dash farmland, remote and secluded with spectacular views ontoSkiddaw and Bassenthwaite lake. Great area for walking, perfectly situated for the northern Wainwright’s The nearest shops are eight miles away.

Switch off in quiet Bassenthwaite village in peaceful valley between lake & mighty Skiddaw mountain, 15 mins from popular market town Keswick - enjoy an open fire, Sun Inn pub 2 mins away (booking recommended), walks for all abilities (many from the door) & our runner ducks - if you want quieter lakes, villages & towns or the most popular locations, all accessible. 12 noon checkout on Sundays after 2 night weekends. The cottage is called Jemima Puddle Duck Cottage.
