My friends and I had a great time relaxing at this beautiful place. Aqeel and Michelle were extremely responsive and helpful when necessary. We would stay again!

Fantastic stay! If it’s available book it! Stayed with our 4 kids, plenty of towels, maxing kitchen setup friendly & helpful hosts!!! House is also setup for kids with nightlights, baby gates plastic dishes just for them. Hikes out the back door. Just awesome!

We had a fantastic time at Lauren and Pat's lodge! It was very cozy, clean, and well equipped (sheets, towels, beautiful updated kitchen with a good amount of kitchen ware) - the perfect landing spot for our chill girls' weekend. It's situated in a peaceful woodsy area with lots of windows that let in natural light, but it's also conveniently located fairly close to various activities, groceries, etc. Would definitely recommend!

A wonderful weekend getaway! My husband and I stayed at Sophia’s place this past weekend after our wedding and it was exactly what we were hoping for. During our wedding we opted to exchange vows privately, but we didn’t end up reading them to each other until the following day after we had arrived. Who else can say that they exchanged vows while sitting by a cozy fire making s’mores?! Sophia’s home will hold a special place in our hearts. I was meeting with family for a graduation. Four of us were staying here. The place was exactly what we needed in our lives and hoped for. It was country, quiet, peaceful and beautiful. It was so beautiful sitting on the back porch that we never once sat in the living room. We had lots of coffee and laughs sitting out there. We never even went into the hot tub or sauna. Would definitely recommend if this is what you need for your soul.

Off the grid enough to feel completely alone in the woods, but close enough to where you can get dinner or find other things to do with only a short drive. Highly recommend.

Great, cozy cabin. It had all of the amenities, including a nice fire pit. Short walk to the trailhead for Cathedral Ledge and walkable to Echo Lake. The cabin is a short drive to Diana’s Bath and a short drive into North Conway as well. We’d definitely stay there again!

An absolute gem if you want to reconnect with family/nature, relax and unplugg. It was so peaceful and tranquil. my 5 year old son loved being in the loft stargazing at night. we would be sitting in the deck by the firepit for smores and some snacks every night. Truly, one of our best family trips. Kendra is also very responsive.

Melanie was a welcoming host who was helpful and responsive. We enjoyed chatting with her. Her place is cozy and perfect for a getaway. Paddling the pond was great, and the area has so much to do if you like being outdoors. We look forward to coming back to stay again.

This cabin is s gem! it's private but close to restaurants shops and the mountains. check in was simple, everything was there that you would need.

My fiance and I stayed here for a night as we were traveling up the coast to Bar Harbor, Maine! We absolutely loved this campsite, and both said we would stop again if we were back in the area! We highly recommend staying here! We played mini golf, had a campfire and even learned the history of the Desert of Maine!

This cabin is one of the most wonderful places I have been. My partner and I stayed just under a week and we enjoyed every second! It was so peaceful and relaxing to be away in such a beautiful home in an amazing area!

We really enjoyed our stay at Mark and Cate's cabin and it was great that we were able to bring our dog. The cabin is easy to get to and offers plenty of privacy where we enjoyed camp fires a couple nights during the week. The bed was comfortable, great water pressure in the shower and the house was stocked with everything you need, even a telescope to catch some stars. We cooked almost every night in the kitchen or on the grill, but also ordered some food from SKK which we highly recommend and pick up some lobsters from Stoney Brook Lobster Pound 10/10. There are plenty of farm stands close by to pick up fresh eggs and meat. We used Phillip View Farm and made a couple short trips to a Hannafords for some other essentials. Kennebunk and Portland are just about a hours drive if you want to venture out and Lake Sebago is only 15 mins. The trail near the house is super close or you can take a short drive up the road to Bald Pate. All around recommend staying here and getting outside.

We had a great stay. Easy check-in. Kat was quick to respond when we had a question. Bridgton itself is a cute town. We would definitely consider another stay here.

Private and relaxing, I enjoyed really peaceful. The roster made so easy with all recommendations and resources we needed, me and my spouse loved it was really good experience “ we recommend”

Booked this home to accommodate 7 people. Enough space for everyone. Comfortable sleeping arrangements. Modern appliances, spacious kitchen for us all to be preparing food and drink. Enjoyed being outside by the fire pit and hot tub. Lake was peaceful and fun for us to walk down to and use kayaks and paddle boards. Great spot for a girls getaway for a couple days.

If you are looking for a relaxing getaway on a beautiful lake, this cozy cabin is the perfect spot! The rustic cabin has everything you need to disconnect and tune into the beauty of Highland Lake. We woke up to the sounds of the loons every morning and enjoyed the spectacular sunsets from the dock each evening. We took full advantage of the kayaks, paddling almost the entire length of the lake over the course of the week. This private, cozy cabin is the quintessential Maine vacation!

We had a wonderful stay at the Barnhaus! It was a rainy weekend but loved relaxing next to the fire place stove. Nice big windows lots of light. Everything was nice and clean and welcoming. We went for a really nice walk at the Pondicherry Park very close by would definitely recommend. The hosts were super friendly and responsive. Would love to book again!

What a beautiful cabin. We came in peak fall foliage season and some of the most gorgeous sights we’ve seen. Jennifer is a kind, response host and the cabin is so wonderfully charming. Perfect vacation for a family of 6. And the cabin came with so many extra hiking/outdoors supplies and snacks, which was a great surprise. Cannot recommend this place enough.

We loved our stay, the cabin was exactly what we were looking for: private, quiet and an escape from work demands. We especially enjoyed the outdoor space and close proximity to the river, and the screened in porch was simply wonderful to relax and read in. We would love to visit the area again.

We were attending a wedding near by and enjoyed the closeness to the venue and the beautiful scenery of this property. It was a full weekend of wedding and family activities, so it was great to be able to relax at the cottage when we had a bit of downtime. Amanda was a responsive and helpful host, so our experience at Bear Pond was great!
