Guests have access to their private entrance and courtyard area with an alfresco garden setting for breakfasting and sharing a yarn next to a small organic herb garden. Located within the greenery and parklands of Princes Hill and Historic Carlton, it's a short stroll to Rathdown Street village and the iconic "Little Italy" eateries in Lygon St. Then settle in for a movie at the local Arthouse Cinema Nova. We are located within a 5 minute walking distance to tram lines heading to the City, Sydney Road and Brunswick East and parking is available around the home or else just bike about like a true local.

I love the long thin strip that is Fitzroy, stretching from the top of the city toward the north shouldered on either side by Collingwood and Carlton. On a sunny day take a stroll down Brunswick or Smith Street into the city, enjoy our local architecture, street art, shops... and stop along the way for a meal, a drink, some music.... With 3 transport corridors, travel from St Kilda on the bay, to Preston and beyond is easy. The Museum, the MCG and the Rod Laver Arena, the National Gallery, Concert Hall and Theatres, our art filled laneways and fabulous eateries are all in easy reach. The Old Stables

The old stables in Fitzroy North. Our space is a renovated old stables situated at the back of our home in Fitzroy north. The two properties are kept separate, so the house is all yours for the duration of your stay. We designed the space to feel as though it is connected to the garden, the wooden ceiling and large glass sliding doors open up to let nature in. This is a place for relaxation, a retreat that is still close to the fun of the city.
