Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Hikkaduwa

Was a nice stay at the Villa. And peshita was always there to help and for questions.

Amazing place. Great aesthetics. Sunita (the house care taker) was extremely warm and welcoming. Had a great time. Rooms are comfortable, AC worked well. Beautiful garden and pool. A small clarification that the jacuzzi is not heated. Location is great, a 15 minute walk from most restaurants, beaches and bars. The host is very responsive and caring. They had also provided a guide with restaurant recommendations and transport facilities. Happy with the price as well. Would recommend to those visiting Ahangama.

Such a big beautiful property. Danuka was super responsive. Places are close to the property, makes it super easy for us to commute.

Fabulous villa for our two families of 4 adults and 4 children (all under 5). The pool was the best we had during our time in Sri Lanka with a guard on duty to clean daily as well as being located in a lush garden where we had water monitors, mongoose and eagles fly above us. Jayantha is a true master in the kitchen. Please order his dinners if you stay as they taste delightful as well as cheaper than out at restaurants. The breakfast was even better with different options each day (egg hoppers, pancakes, omelette plus fresh fruit and toast). If we return we would not hesitate to stay again.

Unser Aufenthalt in Hikkaduwa war – wie auch schon bei unseren früheren Besuchen – einfach unvergesslich! Wir haben nun schon mehrfach bei dieser wundervollen Gastgeberfamilie übernachtet und wurden jedes Mal aufs Neue herzlich empfangen. Die Lage ist perfekt – nur wenige Minuten vom Strand entfernt, und mit dem Tuk-Tuk ist man in Windeseile im Ort. Die Gastgeber sind unglaublich hilfsbereit, freundlich und bemüht, den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Die gemütliche und herzliche Atmosphäre lässt uns jedes Mal wie zu Hause fühlen. Auf Wunsch konnten wir erneut das fantastische Essen der Gastgeber genießen – und es war wieder einmal das Beste, das wir in ganz Sri Lanka hatten! Frisch, liebevoll zubereitet und einfach köstlich. Besonders die Macaroni with Seafood sind jedes Mal ein Highlight! Eine absolute Empfehlung für alle, die nach einem entspannten und authentischen Aufenthalt in Hikkaduwa suchen. Wir freuen uns schon auf das nächste Mal! 😊

We loved our stay in Ahangama thanks to Kamal’a beautiful home and hospitable family. The house is very comfortable and clean and very well equipped so we could cook some meals at home. The shared spaces are so nice to chill out with friends especially the living room and garden. Kamal was so attentive and kind and his wife made us some very tasty breakfasts. We would highly recommend staying here and would also love to return ourselves.

The villa is just amazing! And so is the front/back yard. You get into the house, and it just fees right. The place is very clean, everything is literally new. A manager welcomed us. He was super friendly and spoke to the point. And after that nobody bothered us. Nobody came to check on us. We just asked how to take out the trash and did it on our own. This is what privacy is all about. The internet speed is 150+ Mbps which is really enough. Thanveer hooked me up with a local bike rental company, and they provided us with a few cool bikes for a reasonable price. Any question? The response would always be prompt and on point. This place is one of those rare cases when the actual reality exceeds your expectations! My family is super grateful for such a warm stay as we happened to be the very first guests!

One of our all-time favourite accomodations, from over 40 countries visited. What we loved: - falling asleep with the sound of waves, which was perfect (not too loud, not too low) - our mornings and sunsets on the terrace of the building - the location inside the forest, and on top of the cliffs - nature all around us, with nice fauna (varan, monkeys, peacocks, small birds) visiting us. Don’t worry, there is nothing dangerous, they avoid people - The access to the cliff which is just a couple of steps away from the villas. Very good place for sunsets and meditation after - The pool is really nice for relaxing swimming at the end of the day - Near 2 beaches : Jungle beach (amaaaazing place) and Unawatuna beach, also very nice - Small cozy restaurants just outside the villas - A lot of space inside, very comfortable beds & pillows - The host and personnel are top-notch. Hospitality at next level. It was my wife’s 25th birthday and they helped us make it memorable. Great experience!

We had a wonderful stay at this property in Hikkaduwa. The property was clean, private, and surrounded by beautifully maintained greenery. The spacious rooms and bathrooms, along with the garden sitting area, were lovely. It also has a private kitchen with all the essentials, including a washing machine. The hosts were kind, humble, and very helpful. The beaches and eateries were within walking distance, which was a great bonus. However, light sleepers might be disturbed by the nearby railway track. Also, WiFi wasn't available during our July visit due to the off-season. The host informed us that wifi is not available in the off-season from April until September. Despite these minor issues, I highly recommend this property for a relaxing stay.

It’s a bit of a drive to the location from the Hikkaduwa town. But definitely worth it. Secluded private place with paddy fields and the nature all around us for as far as the eye can see. Absolutely beautiful ! The hostess is actually abroad leaving the caretakers to host us. They were absolutely adorable and extremely helpful. We stayed for one night but wished we did for longer. The kitchen was fully furnished with ample cutlery and dishes for cooking. Bedrooms were spacious with huge sliding doors in front of the beds for a picturesque view of the paddy fields that stretch for miles. Bathrooms were equally spacious and well maintained. Water pressure could be better. A lovely Breakfast was prepared by the caretakers , and they helped us familiarize with the easy routes back to town and more sight seeing spots. The doors are of old fashioned locks so I’d advise you not leave the room without a key if you’re closing it behind. Overall an amazing experience. A definite Must !

It was a wonderful stay! The house has an amazing charme and after the renovation we felt very comfortable with a baby and a small child. The standard is very high, bathrooms are clean and spacious. The pool is an amazing timepass and useful to beat the hot day. But the real gem is the garden and backyard. You can soak up the nature being in a peaceful locality which still has all the comfort like a supermarket, bakery, gym and hospital close by. After staying for 3 month we really felt like home there!

Unser Aufenthalt bei Damith war einfach fantastisch! Während unserer drei Wochen in Sri Lanka war Damith’s Unterkunft mit Abstand die Beste! Die Unterkunft wurde mit viel Liebe zum Detail von Damith geplant und gebaut. Sie liegt schön ruhig in idyllischer Lage. Von der Terrasse kann man wunderbar ins Grüne blicken. Der Garten ist toll angelegt und alles ist liebevoll arrangiert. Unawatuna ist nicht weit entfernt und in ca. 10 Minuten mit dem Motorroller zu erreichen. Einen Roller kann Damith einem für einen guten Preis als Leihgabe besorgen. Alles in allem war unser Aufenthalt einfach herausragend und wir können es nur jedem ans Herz legen Damith zu besuchen!

We had an outstanding stay & a very warm welcome at Barbara's villa. The villa is big with lots of space, 6 rooms, an amazing pool with a view on the Beach + jungle. Ideal location for a 30th birthday party/gathering with a large group/relaxed time. Beyond the great amenities, the staff's welcoming, pro-activeness and kindness really makes the difference. We had excellent meals thanks to the personal chef, nothing complicated but fresh, served on time, with a great dining experience. This is exactly what we were looking for. The rooms and common areas were always clean after our visit (i.e multiple times during the day/night). I highly recommend this villa as a top holiday destination. Barbara & her team really make a huge difference.
