Also within a 5 min walk is a train station with trains to Liverpool (waterfront, arena etc) each 20 mins (20min train journey). There are 2 good sized and charming double bedrooms, & a single. Fully equipped, newly decorated, garden inc bike shed. Great location and house!

The Stables annexe is located in a beautiful courtyard setting with private entrance and free off road parking. From the courtyard, you step into the open plan lounge area with underfloor heating. Wall mounted smart TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime. There are several country pubs within walking distance all serving good food. The nearest being a short 2 minute walk away. Beautiful walks from the door onto Thurstaston Common, Royden Park. Regular local bus and train services into Liverpool.

2 bed apartment set in a Victorian House on a tree lined street in a prime location. With less than a 2 min walk to the beach and Marine Lake. Also within a few mins walking are the many bars, cafes, restaurants and bistros that West Kirby has to offer. The 2 double bed 1st floor apt is well appointed and furnished to a high standard. The kitchen is well equipped and the separate lounge is a perfect place to relax. Guests can request later checkout and where possible we will accommodate.

Davies Cottage, cosy, comfortable base

A perfect base for exploring the North Wales Coast. A cosy and comfortable place to return to at the end of the day. It has wifi, good quality beds and bedding and a full bathroom, with lots of towels! The Point of Ayr Nature reserve is 5 minutes away, Talacre sand dunes and lighthouse, then Prestatyn further along the coast. Ffynnongroew was a mining village, with 2 pubs a few minutes walk away, along with a take away, Post Office and small convenience store. DOGS ALLOWED, NO CATS.

this was my first experience of staying in airbnb in the UK, having done a couple in the USA in New Jersey I felt so at home at Colleen's place. maybe it's because I have a connection with the area, as a child I spent a great deal of time with my grandparents whom lived in leasowe not far away.. and my grandmother and dad are buried in landican cemetery a short distance away. everywhere I walked within Hoylake I felt they present. it was a very emotional experience to be back on Merseyside. As a host Colleen waswonderful she explained everything, and didn't mind if I came in late out in Liverpool from concerts. when I left this morning I was a bit sad , because I realise how much I've missed being on Merseyside. I may live in London but my heart will always be on Merseyside and Liverpool. I thank you for giving me your home for five days it was wonderful and I will come back.

Just came back from a week at Saskia's house . Myself,husband and another couple had a brilliant week . Saskia's house was so spacious and comfortable. We used the back garden to relax after full days sightseeing The Wirral and Liverpool. The back garden was a sun trap which was we really enjoyed to soak up the wonderful weather we had whilst there. The area is also fantastic, the beach at the end of the road. Peaceful but plenty of facilities in walking distance. Highly recommend.

Staying at Elaine’s was absolutely perfect for our (Mine and my beautiful Whippet, Bonnie) 4 days exploring West Kirby and looking for properties. We had everything we needed and Elaine and Geoff were so very kind and helpful with pointing us in the right direction. It’s the most lovely location, around the corner from the beautiful coastline and the amazing amenities that West Kirby has to offer. The delicious bread, biscuits and tea and coffee were a real bonus. I can’t recommend their home enough.

A lovely annexe in a peaceful area. I stayed here as I was going to an exhibition at Lady Lever Art Gallery at Port Sunlight close by. I stayed for 2 nights for some time out. The bed is very comfy and the shower is great. Thanks for leaving me to my own devices. I had some very peaceful and much needed respite time.

Perfect in every way ! Large spotless apartment, 2 minutes to the beach and fantastic views of the Dee Estuary. Also local little shops, bars and cafes 5 minutes away. Morrisons superstore 10 minutes walk away. Train station (covering the whole of the Wirral and Liverpool) and all bus stops approx 15 minutes walk away. Already planning our next stay !!
