Chris was very easy to deal with and quick to reply when we had a question. Lovely home and it had everything you would need for a great relaxing stay. Highly recommended!

Host was really easy to communicate with, super responsive and clear instructions when we requested a late check in. Cabin was clean and tidy. We were only staying for a night as we were passing through but my kids were so excited to see the cows when they woke up. We would definitely stay again.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Murringo Barracks! Mark and Therese were the most warm and hospitable hosts, and the property itself was just beautiful with so much history attached. We appreciated all the generous, homey touches including fresh eggs, flowers, and baked bread, and feeding the little lamb each day was so special! The art gallery filled with local pieces as well as Therese’s own beautiful artworks was lovely to visit too. If you are looking for a restful, refreshing getaway that feels like home away from home this is the perfect place. We hope to be back very soon!

Beautiful, comfortable and cozy escape to the country. Perfect for a quiet weekend with the dog and a good book by the fire. Very lovely and beautiful touches in the cottage.

Fabulous place to stay for a night with our 2 dogs on a road trip from Victoria to Gold Coast. Not too far to deviate off the Hume but far enough that you couldn’t hear the traffic. Super comfy bed and all the amenities you need for a short stay. Rachael was so friendly and helpful with check in. Stayed in Cabin 4 and would happily stay again!

We had an amazing weekend staying at Jane’s farm - the space itself is so clean and fresh while still maintaining its country charm and history. Jane and Jodie were excellent hosts, so friendly and welcoming to their property. We really enjoyed popping into the local brewery for a drink and lunch and bringing food to cook in the fully stocked kitchen before winding down in the gorgeous bath. It was a truly wonderful stay- we will be back!

Beautiful quiet place with lovely views. Host Peter and Julie were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Two great books in the stone house describing the history of their farm. Simple kitchen with an excellent deck area with a bbq and firepit. Great place to watch sky at night and enjoy a glass of local red wine.

Beautiful and quiet off-grid place! Great place for family retreat. Enjoying sunrise in the morning by the fire pit is our morning routine and cannot be missed. The house itself was exactly how it was pictured in the listing. Well maintained, clean and lots of games and activities for kids. Dan provided a clear and well written instruction on how to get to the location and getting inside the place. While the location is isolated, the price was definitely worthwhile. Would love to come back again in the future.

I booked The Barlow last minute while road tripping from Wagga Wagga to Gold Coast and I am so glad I did!! I absolutely loved my night here, relaxing under the stars in the outdoor tub with the fire going. Robyn is a wonder host, the property was clean, beautifully styled, well equipped and had lovely welcome treats.

This place was perfect for a relaxing and peaceful getaway from the busy city. Judy and Garry are amazing hosts and have a ton of great recommendations on what to do around the area. The fire pit at night is also such a delight. We had such a nice visit and we’ll definitely be coming back.

We booked Eileen’s house for a two nights as our daughter was getting married at the Sir George. We had plenty of room for 3 couples all with our own bathrooms. The house is spacious and clean with an open plan layout. Eileen stocked the fridge with a lovely breakfast for us and also a nice bottle of wine for tasting. Eileen communication was quick and clear. I would recommend Eileen’s place to my family and friends and would stay again. Roslyn

Absolutely loved our stay! The place was peaceful, cozy, and full of little touches that made it feel special. We still can’t get over how quiet the nights were—just us and the stars Ben and Samantha, you’re legends. Thanks for the beautiful space, clear directions (Google Maps definitely needed the help), and for letting us unplug and just breathe. We’ll be back for round two—next time, we’re mastering that firepit!

Thank you , Sarah for hosting us! Wonga Homestead was welcoming, comfortable and beautifully situated in gardens with a fabulous pool. There was plenty of room for all of us to come together but also to have quiet time. Communication was clear, responsive and helpful. We did not have any concerns or trouble staying at the house. We enjoyed our stay, relaxing in and by the pool, playing in the gardens and going into town for shops and to wander. A lovely getaway. A beautiful house to base yourself to explore our wonderful country.

We loved our stay at Nikki’s cottage. It comfortably fit our 2 families of 4 as we each had our own ‘wing’ of the cottage which was perfect. The cottage is well appointed and full of country character that makes you feel right at home. The location is beautifully peaceful and quiet with plenty of space for kids to run around. We particularly loved the outdoor fire pit and spent a lot of time here under the stars. Nikki and her husband were very welcoming and friendly and quick to offer any assistance if needed (which we didn’t). Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return again. Excellent place to stay at. The place was exactly what we needed except when we arrived, only 2 of the listed 3 bathrooms were available. This was outside Bilal’s control as one of the bathrooms had issues around Christmas time making it hard to get trades to come in a fix in time. There were some small bugs around the house but this is all part of nature when you’re in the country so no big deal at all! The house was beautiful and exactly as described. It was well equipped for us to enjoy some family meals in.
