Holiday houses in Hinson Island

Isabelle and her family were very welcoming. They were always available for questions and wanted to make sure we had everything we needed. The apartment was right on the bus line and very convenient. We enjoyed everything about our stay.

This airbnb is a steal due to the combination of accessibility to public transit, promixity to restaurants and grocery stores (all within a few minutes walking distance) plus the view. Because you're right next to the water, you have a built in fishing hole. It's located on a major bus route so you have no problems getting to all areas of the island. There's also laundry facilities, a small lounge area and access to snorkeling gear. Amanda and Barry were super friendly, attentive and made us feel right at home. Even though they lived nearby, the gave us our space and only came by if we needed assistance. The unit itself is clean, cozy and fully equipped. There's also a wonderful warm breeze when you open the doors and (huge) windows. This was my first time back home in a number of years and I can safely say that this is the perfect spot. Affordable, accessible and comfortable. What more can you ask for? Thank you Amanda and Barry from our family to yours ❤️

Nice quiet accommodation, walkable to downtown Hamilton and its many delicious restaurants. Five minute walk to nearest grocery store (Garden Market). The accommodation was great, comfortable bed, great patio for reading. Valda was friendly and had many good recommendations. Great quiet location, but close to all that Bermuda has to offer. Loved the bus and ferry system - used them daily. Looking forward to a return visit.

Maria was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. She even offered to pick us up from another Airbnb location and was always happy to help with any questions we had. It was especially thoughtful of her to offer us a lift when we needed to go somewhere nearby. The apartment we rented was spacious and well-appointed. The kitchen was excellent—fully equipped with everything you might need for cooking, with all kind of appliances. I was pleasantly surprised to find thoughtful extras like hairspray and aloe vera, yoga mats. The large pool was very beautiful. Taking a swim after the beach was amazing! The property sits on a hill, offering spectacular views of Bermuda. We also used the barbecue when we wanted to cook outside. Another highlight was the access to a private beach—it was wonderful. It’s about a 10-minute walk downhill. We truly had a wonderful experience! Thank you Maria and Craig and your beautiful family!

We were in town for a wedding. I share the space with my sisters’s family…. The place was more than adequate for eight of us. Swimming was perfect….lots of gear to use. Snorkeling was an unexpected surprise. Lots of coral and fish to see. Neighborhood was very friendly. We were always greeted with a friendly hello.

The place is new and fresh. Hosts the most kind people in the world. They welcomed us very warmly and always were there to help and provide everything we needed. I felt more than like at home because hosts are so friendly and helpful and they are sincere about it! Thank you!

My husband and I couldn't have asked for a better stay with Karen and Bully. I am sensitive to the perfume in laundry detergent and Karen went to the trouble of washing the sheets and towels three times for me to remove it before we arrived. She even had free and clear hand soap for me. Karen had nice surprises for us as the week went along. (I won't spoil them by saying what they were!) The unit was spacious and pleasant. The king bed is very comfortable. The area is very peaceful and pretty and it's a short walk to the ferry and bus stops. There is a fabulous Sunday brunch in a 4-star restaurant across the street. Indian, pizza and and other takeout is within walking distance. A nice grocery store is in walking distance also. As far as transportation, we used the bus, the ferry and Bermuda's taxi app, Hitch Bermuda. My husband was able to take his golf clubs on the bus to Port Royal Golf Course. The free tour of the island by Karen's friend, Jimmy, was the icing on the cake!

John and Elaine have thought of every detail to make visitors feel welcome and comfortable in this incredible apartment. My son and I spent a fun extended Mother's Day weekend here and enjoyed using the kayak, having breakfast every morning on the spacious deck, and lingering in the evenings listening to the chorus of frogs and watching the lights wink on across the water. It's a quick walk into Hamilton, or even quicker to the bus stop (as others have mentioned in the comments here, there is a short cut through Trust land to the bus stop that makes it even shorter and more pleasant.) If we had realized how much we would take the bus, we would have bought day passes. The public bus system is amazing and the people of Bermuda are exceptionally kind. The snorkel gear John provided was a real bonus-- it was wonderful to see such healthy coral and abundant sea life. We felt so lucky to be able to stay at John and Elaine's, and grateful to be able to get to know Bermuda.
