The Wheelhouse Inn - Captain's Quarters

The Captain's Quarters is a 2 bedroom stand alone accommodation with AMAZING sea views out across Tasman Bay. When you enter the building you go downstairs to the open plan living/dining and kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with stove, coooktop, fridge and enough crockery and cutlery for you to cook your own meals. The dining area leads on to your own private balcony with a bbq and outdoor furniture. The living area has comfy seating. A tv, chromecast and the accommodation is fully equipped with FREE WIFI. The downstairs bedroom has 2 singles in a bunk style. The bottom bunk is suitable for an adult but the top bunk is more suitable for a young adult or child. There is also a double pull-out sofa bed in the lounge. Upstairs is the master bedroom with a king bed and massive picture windows overlooking the sea views. Upstairs also has the separate bathroom with shower and toilet. A delightful home away from home!!

The Lookout

Uniquely situated on a rural property that sits above Nelson and just a short drive from both Nelson Airport and Nelson City centre. Located up a winding, private, gravel driveway approx 1km from the road **MAX 20km speed limit on this winding, gravel driveway!. ‘The Lookout' is separate from our home (located at the far end of our double garage) self-contained and completely private. Our cozy unit features a private deck, queen bed, ensuite and kitchenette. Enjoy the beautiful sunsets.

The Chooks nook has had a make over, now modernised and ready to host again a home away from home. Tucked up in a quiet native garden surrounded by bird song and fruit trees for you to enjoy when in season, and of course our four cheeky chooks. Our seperate, private cottage sits on our 2,250sqm property, with the great taste trail right on our doorstep and the gateway to the Abel Tasman 15 minutes drive away. The studio has a small kitchenette and a modern compact ensuite. It is fully furnished and equipped with everything needed for your stay, including free Wi-Fi and off-road parking. The stand-alone studio has its own entrance in a shared courtyard with the main house, situated on 2 hectares (5 acres) in a rural location 15-20 mins from downtown Nelson. We have cows, goats, chickens, a cat and a small aviary. You are welcome to explore the property and enjoy the views and birdlife.
