This Airbnb was excellent! The location couldn’t be better—super close to Temma Station, making it easy to commute to Kyoto, Nara and Kobe. For those self-catering, there are plenty of supermarkets nearby, and Temma Station is just a short walk away from Donki and Tamade offering cheap snacks and food. The place itself was very comfortable—great bath, toilet, and shower, plus a handy washer and dryer. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which was a relief in the summer heat. Highly recommended for a convenient and comfortable stay in Osaka! The neighbourhood itself is very local, close to Tenjinbashi shopping street - much better than downtown Dotonbori.

Shared bicycles can be rented next door to the room, making it easy to get around

Our stay was fantastic! The apartment is in a great location — super convenient with lots of excellent restaurants and local spots just a short walk away. We stayed in Naoyuki's property for 4 days and loved the stay. The room with 4 futons was amazing and very traditional with Japanese decors. The proximity to the bus stop and tram/train station was extremely convenient in terms of transportation. The stay was as warm and cozy as Kyoto.

We had a relaxing time and enjoyed this lovely home. We stayed for 5 days in May 2025. We arrived super early and was allowed to drop off our bags before check-in which we appreciated a lot because we had huge luggages that would not have fit in the lockers at the train station. We wanted to experience a traditional Japanese home with an onsen and be a bit away from city center. It was a residential area and was a 5 minute walk to Fushimi Inari Shrine. The home is lovely, comfortable and clean. The massage chair was a big bonus and helped us relax every night. Owner was very responsive. I asked for additional towels and received them the next day. Would come back again.

She contacted us well in advance with clear check-in instructions and was flexible in accommodating our arrival time. She even met us in person to assist with parking and gave us a warm welcome with a house tour. We were touched by the little gestures—iced bottled water, delicious snacks, and her genuine conversation where she shared about herself and made us feel right at home. She even helped with our luggage and came to send us off when we checked out. It’s rare to meet such a hospitable and caring host. Highly recommended—we would love to stay again!

Fumika-san is a great host! Very understanding, calm and kind, responds quickly, went to meet and greet us at the bus stop, which was very considerate. Highly recommend the place to anyone! Clean, spacious, a traditional experience with tatami and futon❤️ all the amenities are available, we loved everything!🌸🌸🌸🌸

Our host Ichiashi responded to the messages instantly, which always made us feel safe and open to questions. The house was like a dream. You feel like a full Japanese home. The bikes waiting for you in front of the house are perfect for experiencing the spirit of Kyoto. The host has even prepared a card for you to visit for Kyoto. There is peace from the windows overlooking the backyard of the house. Everything has been thought out in the house, from coffee to coffee, champagne, to the bath salt set for the bathtub. We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful traditional Japanese-style home in Kyoto. The house perfectly blended old and new, with charming touches like tatami mats and modern comforts. The beds were very comfortable, and the home was spotless, well-equipped, and thoughtfully arranged. The location was ideal — just a 5-minute walk to Nijo subway station and within 10 minutes of Nijo Castle, one of Kyoto’s main attractions. Our host, Hori-san, was incredibly welcoming and shared great local tips that enriched our trip. She also gave us a warm tour of the house, helping us feel right at home. We highly recommend the ‘Memory Kyoto Bike Tour,’ which starts just five minutes away. We’re so glad we chose this place and would happily return. Highly recommended for anyone seeking an authentic and comfortable stay in Kyoto.

This place is exactly as all the other five-star reviews describe. The host is considerate, kind, and responsive. The space is quiet yet close to several major stations. The instruction manuals for the indoor equipment are clear and thorough. I can see how much care the host has put into ensuring our comfort through all the thoughtful details. We’ll definitely book here again if we visit Osaka in the future!

Lovely clean place right in the heart of Osakas Dottonburi district, close to everything and right near the station so it was just perfect. Great communication and easy to find, would totally recommend. Thank you Sakura 😊

All in all good!The kitchen is fully equipped, there are basic living items, and the homestay owner is also very friendly, helping to carry your luggage upstairs!But there are a few places I think it can be mentioned, first of all, the equipment to regulate the water temperature in the bathroom is more complicated, didn't understand at first, it took more than 15 minutes to turn to the heating water (go to the cold water first, then move the hot water slowly, there is warm water).The second is that although it is only 4 minutes from the nearest MTR station access, the entrance with the lift is 8 minutes away and is slightly inconvenient.

I had a good stay for 3 nights and 4 days ~ I was so satisfied that the accommodation was so neatly done ^ ^ It was a limited stop from Namba Station, and it was nice to be able to walk to the restaurants and zoos we were going to. If there was a little regret, there was no clock, so it was a little uncomfortable to check the time ~ Apart from this, I was very satisfied ~ If I have a chance, I'll book the accommodation again on my next trip.😀 Thank you ~ ~ ~

The accommodations were excellent and Aoi-San was very responsive. You can't beat the location with access to Dotenbori and Kuromon steps away. Train station is about 3-5 minutes depending on which line you need to catch and Namba Walk shopping was a nice surprise. Highly recommend staying here and will do so again without hesitation.
