The entire old Skåne farmhouse has been newly renovated in the past year and the guest house is part of the farmhouse, which also houses an artist's studio and gallery. The guest house has a separate entrance. Of course, the cottage is also decorated with art from the studio.

Bästekille är en liten by högt belägen mellan Södra Mellby och Vitaby. Här finns äppellundar och betande kor. I byn finns en gårdsbutik med ägg, potatis och grönsaker efter säsong. Allt är kravmärkt från bonden i byn. Konstgalleri Fabriken ligger i byn. I södra Mellby finns ett bageri där ni kan köpa goda bakverk och bröd. Närmsta bad är Kivik eller Vitemölla där det finns vackra sandstränder. Stugan ligger vid en väg.
