Wairarapa, Gladstone, Gobbler Country Cottage

Our tranquil, rural Gladstone cottage has gorgeous views of farmland and native bush from the sunny verandah. Enjoy the a wine from our nearby local vineyards and a BBQ outside in Summer and the warmth of a logfire inside during Winter. A 3 minute drive to the Gladstone Inn for breakfast, lunch or dinner, and 20 mins to either Masterton, Greytown or Martinborough. We also have a 6 hole golf course available (seasonally) onsite for our guests to enjoy, golf clubs for hire for a round or two.

Longforde Cottage

Welcome to Longforde, a very special, charming and beautifully furnished cottage attached to our main home but completely independent with your own access and landscaped to ensure your absolute privacy. Set on 4 acres of stunning gardens, each room has private rural views of the countryside and Tararua ranges. We are located at the end of one of Greytowns most beautiful streets, a walkable 2km into the shops and cafes. As well, we are on a popular walking and biking route to the Waiohine river.

Beach front, Winter special - pay 3 nights, stay 4

Not only are you beachfront but around the corner from the golf club and tennis courts. This wee gem is one of five holiday bachs, so respect of the other owners is premium, as is yours. You have your own very private, sun drenched sheltered deck with a bbq provided. A queen bed in one room, and a double and single in the other. The kitchen has all your essentials and even a dishwasher. There is a TV with a Chromecast, children's games, toys and videos are plentiful. Walk in and just relax.

Starlight Cottage

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway with a magical night sky. Located 25mins from Martinborough and Greytown. The Gladstone Inn is 5 mins drive away with local wineries nearby. Other nearby attractions: Stonehenge Aotearoa is 9 mins drive away, the Hood Aerodrome (Masterton) is a 19 mins drive, and Star Safari on Ponatahi Rd is 16 mins away. The cottage is completely off grid and there is a car port to keep the car cool and dry. We are located in the Wairarapa Dark Sky Reserve.

The Cottage - Riversdale Beach

This lovely, secluded cottage is a mere 30 minute drive from Masterton. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay or go and explore the area. Just a 10 minute drive to Riversdale Beach, a 15 minute drive to the Tinui Bar and Cafe and a 35 minute drive to Castlepoint. Riversdale Beach has a 18 hole golf course , a lovely store to go and get Fish and Chips, a sand beach with lifeguards and good beach fishing. There is a children's play area to keep the littlies occupied.

The View

On a plateau overlooking the Ruamahanga river valley is our cosy two bedroom fully self contained cottage. The views are jaw dropping, backdropped by the Tararua Ranges. On the river flats below, summer crops form a patchwork of different colours. Above, the big sky can be an endless blue or filled with rolling banks of cloud and truly spectacular sunsets. At night the wondrous canopy of stars is why the region is an official International Dark Sky Reserve. It’s all utterly peaceful.

Ti Tree Rural Escape

If you need to relax and have a restorative break away then Ti Tree is the place to come. This is an unknown part of the country that has ancient geology and astounding beauty. A walk to the river mouth weather permitting and depending on tides is where you will experience 7000 year old Totara Tree stumps . There are amazing rock formations at the mouth of the Kaiwhata river also. In evening you can relax under the night sky in the private spa pool which is right outside you door.

Bungalow on the beach front with fire

Make some wonderful family memories at our renovated bach. With modern whiteware and great indoor/outdoor flow our bach makes for easy living! It's situated on the beach front in the sand dunes, only 50 meters from the shop and park, and a short walk on the beach to the north "surf club flag area". Fun walks in either direction with reefs at each end of the beach for fishing or for fossicking with the kids at low tide for interesting crabs and shellfish. Enjoy our holiday bach!

Surrounded by Nature

The Tree House is a perfect, off-the-grid retreat for nature lovers, where you can listen to birdsong, see the sunrise from the deck and hear the river flowing in the valley. Two minutes walk and you come to The Watermill Bakery serving delicious pizza on Friday evenings. The Tree House is close to a small productive lavender farm, Lavender magic, who sell cut flowers in season, and Mount Holdsworth, where you will be able to access a wide variety of walking tracks.

Large Spacious Family Bach

Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun. With a very spacious 2 story bach that will entertain all ages. We have a pool table up stairs along with the main bedroom and eunsite. Down stairs you will find an open plan kitchen and dining area along with the outdoor deck. Two down stairs bedrooms and a seperate bathroom. First room has a set of single bunks along with a double bed. Bedroom 3 has 2x king single beds.
