Waterfront holiday rentals in Hong Kong Island

It was a cozy place to stay with lots of shopping that can be done around. The roads are always buzzling with traffic and people..very close to Jordan mtr and Temple street.. also pretty close to bus stop for Airport transfer.. easily accessible and surrounded by infinite options to eat..we couldn’t do enough during our 2 days stay.. also close to McDonalds & Pizzahut.. Pinky was very helpful and even gave us leads for trustworthy local taxi contacts..

Shu Wah is a delightful host—warm, friendly, and welcoming. Despite being in an older residential building (a common sight in Hong Kong), the room is clean and comfortable. What truly stands out, though, is the stunning sea view from the room and the vibrant local community nearby. Kennedy Town is full of charm, with popular cafés and restaurants just a short walk away. The neighborhood is not only lively but also incredibly convenient—easy subway access means you can reach the sea in no time.

This property location was very close to the ferry port and instructions on how to get to the residence was very clear and communicative from Jo-Hannah. Jo-Hannah clearly has a cosy home and will treat her guest(s) just as how she puts her care and love in her spacious apartment. A nice, cool getaway with a complete guide to Lamma at your fingertips. A killer plant and mountain view and close vicinity to eateries, cafes and hotspots. Off the beaten track the Library and cultural center by the port is worth the visit for a breather between beach and restaurants to cool off, read a book (plenty of English edition and newspapers) by the Lamma sea. If you can’t borrow a book buy one from Nick The Book!

Recommended Airbnb for budget travelers: Php9400 for 2 (5D4N)! Correct room size as shown in the pictures (what you see is what you get). Enough for 2 (small-med size). Good AC, gets cold fast. Good & clean bathroom, with water heater. All are avail just as shown in the listing (soap, shampoo, towel, toothpaste, toothbrush, hangers, electric kettle, hairblower). Very convenient Location! The mansion is just at the front of a bus stop (A21 bus to Airport) and MTR TsimShaTsui C2&C1 Exit Sam was very accomodating and responsive, even provided detailed instructions on how to get there, places to visit and where to eat (days before the stay). Sam, allowed us to checkin early since the room was available. Sam was also available when we called him (via telephone outside the building) at 6am when we left the keycard (bags&phones inside) before we checkout. Thank you so much Sam! For people who like peace

We had a great stay at Sunok's place. The balcony was lovely! The surrounding area had lots of great food options and was close to public transportation, yet it was still quiet. Sunok was a great host- communicated well and was very proactive. Would recommend this place!

This beautiful home exceeded our expectations. Jean-Pierre and Dora are extremely proactive in making us feel welcome and were super helpful with whatever we needed. Their helper Charie is the warmest person you could ever ask for to greet you after a long journey. She is both available and discrete. The pictures on the listing do not do the house and the view justice. Highly recommended!

Randy’s place was quiet, peaceful, and spacious, particularly by Hong Kong standards. It’s an especially great base if you’re visiting or studying at CUHK and/or hoping to explore or hike in this part of the New Territories. It was exactly what I was looking for, and I look forward to staying here again the next time I’m in HK!

This was the best host ever! Nice, helpful, very caring. The whole family treats you so friendly. Even that is was not in the description, they offered me to have dinner with them and we had amazing time, talking two hours, laughing and feeding their geckos :)) highest recommendation!

I spent very good working days in this room. The room is located near bus stops and train station, so comfortable place both work and trip. If you want to walk seaside road, I also think that it is good reason to stay this room. I enjoyed walking along the road.

Room is clean and tidy. Place is a great stay at Mui Wo island, and has all amenities available around the town, convenient in getting to kowloon and central as well, with an added bonus of not being as congested as central islands. Holly is kind and informative and will offer help when needed. The dog is also very affectionate and friendly, you will miss the dog after checking out.

I didn't want a hotel that was too small and dirty, and since it was the holidays, good hotels were too expensive, so I tried Airbnb for the first time and it was a great choice. Harvey, the host, was very friendly and attentive. From the taxi to and from the airport, to the tourist routes, descriptions of the property, and transportation tips. The house was clean and he provided extra blankets and a heater as it was unusually cold the week we stayed. It really felt like we were staying at a friend's house in Hong Kong.

The house is located near the Seaside Park of Tseung Kwan O, here is very quiet and beautiful away from the hustle and bustle, can always give you unparalleled nightfall and beautiful sky, Tseung Kwan O transportation is very convenient, you can walk 5 minutes from home to the MTR station, it only takes 30 minutes to go to Central Hong Kong on Hong Kong, and it takes only 35 minutes to go to Tsim Sha Mouth, this is the best property in Hong Kong, and there is no one!The host, Rye, is friendly and fun, is extremely welcoming and genuine, knowledgeable, and he can always make you happy and progressive, highly recommended to travelers!

I live on the sofa bed in the living room. Although it is in the living room, the host will leave the living room when I sleep, giving me a quiet and private space. I feel respected.

It was an absolute pleasure staying at this property. We couldn't have asked for better. The property was very clean, well maintained and spacious by Hk standards. We had everything that we needed for our stay at our finger tips. The apartment overlooked the beach which added to the overall charm. Its just 2 minutes from the beach, grocery store, bus stop and ferry pier. The host was amazing, very responsive and supportive. I would highly recommend this apartment for anyone willing to spend a serene and peaceful holiday in Hong Kong. Thank you to the host for making our stay such a pleasant experience.
