Just an unbelievable location. What a view from the patio. I loved this place so much. If I ever come back to Fuji, I’m staying here again. The washer/dryer unit worked great. Clear instructions provided. Beds were clean and comfortable. The bathroom and toilet were super clean. The kitchen is well appointed with crockery and cutlery. Overall, a lovely experience.

Ancient House Tian Yuan -villa tabuchi- Quiet Space with Irori and Tatami

Chi KinRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This was our first time staying in a traditional Japanese house, and we were very excited before our arrival. Upon checking in, we were delighted with everything—the beautiful surroundings, the exceptional traditional Japanese house, and the warm hospitality of the two owners. We will gladly recommend "古民家田淵" to our friends and look forward to returning for another stay in the future.

private traditional house relax under a kotatsu.

MarcRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We were looking for something unique, off the beaten path and it is exactly what we found! This was truly an unforgettable experience staying in a quaint traditional Japanese house and my toddler absolutely loved the place. Jun-san was such an amazing host, so friendly and accommodating that I wished we had more time to chat. My wife took the miso making class which she very much enjoyed and we also loved having the company of his dog. The house is in a quiet location surrounded by scenic surroundings. The host was also able to recommend a few things to do, eat and see in the area. We had a great time.

Chichibu, a 150-year-old kominka house for rent, convenient for Nagatoro rafting [Big log house] | BBQ | Storage

ToshiyaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We rented the entire building and had a spacious stay. There was a BBQ in the garden, plenty of chairs and sandals, and there were plenty of cooking utensils in the kitchen. It was very easy to use. It was still cold at night, but we had a relaxing time with kotatsu. In particular, they lent us the warehouse in the garden, and we enjoyed ourselves at night without worrying about the surroundings. The facilities were great with an electric guitar, bass, classical guitar and one amplifier. The hosts were also kind and kindly explained. We would like to stay again.

Old Japanese Guest house IORI 菴

SophieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We loved our stay in Kamakura at this beautiful property. It felt like our own Japanese home. The living areas were spacious and very functional. We were really impressed by the modern and large (for Japanese standards) kitchen and the clean and functional bathroom spaces. It was really lovely sleeping upstairs as the room is surrounded with rice paper window coverings, and we had the glow of moonlight as we fell asleep and a sunlight glow in the morning. We could have easily stayed here for a number of weeks, and will definitely be back if we revisit Kamakura. Couldn't recommend this place enough.
