Welcome to Rushbrook Retreat, located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in West Dorset. Rushbrook Annexe offers a cosy tranquil escape in secluded countryside, with easy accessibility to the beautiful Jurassic Coast beaches & neighbouring towns. Our nearest beach is the beautiful West Bay in Bridport, only 20 minutes by car, with the neighbouring National Trust owned Hive beach just five minutes further along the coastal road. Lyme Regis & Weymouth beach are only 35 minutes away❤️

Beautiful 2 bedroom cottage in glorious Dorset

Nestled in the picturesque Dorset countryside, this charming Portland stone cottage offers a quintessential English retreat. Set within the grounds of a historic Old Rectory, the property is surrounded by rolling hills, lush meadows, and the tranquil River Frome, providing an idyllic spot for a holiday. It is all on one level,we are able to rent out the whole cottage also which creates an additional 2 bedrooms for extended family - we rarely rent this out to another party and is mostly empty.

'The Living Van'

Enjoy a unique stay a stones throw from our tranquil National Nature Reserve at Kingcombe run by Dorset Wildlife Trust. Open April-Sept This renovated Living Van is set in it's own private garden, overlooking our apple orchard and Visitor Centre grounds. Inside is simple but cosy, with a double bed, small wood burner and additional electric heater and lamps. You have access to your own private shower and use of the public loo just a short walk away. Not suitable for children under 5 years.

Stargazer, off grid shepherds hut in cider orchard

Our bespoke, self contained shepherds hut is sat looking over our beautiful cider orchard in the heart of Dorset complete with its own outdoor fire pit/bbq and exclusive wood fired hot tub. We have a range of produce to offer guests to cook in the hut or on the bbq outside and a farm shop selling our ciders, meat and local produce. There are great pubs, breweries and restaurants in the locality to enjoy plus cycle routes and walks for all abilities with stunning views of the Dorset countryside

A unique and romantic hideaway, Quarryman's Cottage is dinner on the roof terrace watching the sunset over Lyme Bay & Charmouth, stargazing from the luxury freestanding bath, epic views from the double shower, reading under the old oak tree, BBQ's & firepits, leisurely walks to The Anchor at Seatown via Golden Cap or the coastal path, the sound of birdsong, the glimpse of a deer, curling up in front of the wood burner in winter. It is a tranquil & heavenly escape from the bustle of daily life.

The Little House in Hooke

Little House is a charming 1-bedroom retreat located in the picturesque village of Hooke in beautiful West Dorset. This inviting cottage is perfect for a romantic getaway or a peaceful solo escape, accommodating up to 2 guests comfortably. The House contains a comfy super-king bed and bright sitting room with kitchen. Outside, the south-facing cottage has private access, shared driveway parking, and a private Little Garden which we try to keep in bloom with wildflowers throughout the summer.

The Coach House, Powerstock

The entire first floor of a historic Victorian Coach House. This large, open-plan space is great to use as a base for walking, writing, painting, music or as a retreat. A wonderful space for creativity and inspiration. Powerstock is a beautiful quintessentially English rural village, a short drive (5 miles) from the Jurassic Coast. A walker's paradise in an Area of Outstanding Beauty, with Eggardon Iron Age Hill Fort close by. Abundant wildlife. Two great pubs within walking distance.

Welcome onboard your own private aircraft, step inside to the sleek contemporary interior of first class. Outside, unwind in seclusion in private woodland, a short walk away from the West Somerset Railway and the AONB of the Quantock Hills. An ideal getaway for two in first class, for families there is a bunk bed in the living room area. Dogs at additional cost.

Perfect for year round use with a large outdoor dining area and a log burner inside for the colder months.

Berry Farm Cottage nestles in a private area of the grounds of Berry Farm, which dates back to the 16th century. It is located in the charming Conservation Village of Walditch, within walking distance of Bridport. The Cottage itself has 2 bedrooms and two bathrooms with an open-plan living space and is set away from the main house in its own private grounds, with 1,200sqm (0.3acres) of orchard garden, as well as an outside patio with table and chairs, with country views.

Unique Upside-Down Treehouse Retreat in Rural Dorset Escape to Stapleford Lodge, a unique "upside-down" treehouse-style home nestled on the edge of the peaceful village of Hooke in the heart of rural West Dorset. Sleeping up to 6 guests, this light-filled and spacious property offers stunning countryside views and a truly relaxing getaway. We're delighted to be welcoming guests again, with this being the first year the property has been available to rent since 2022.
