Sandane has a lot to offer: Trivselsskogen is a unique hiking area that you just have to experience! In Trivselshagen you will find swimming facilities, sports hall, cultural house and cinema. Sandane has a 9-hole golf course, and we have amazing hiking areas if you like mountain hikes.

Jølet! Imagine lying suspended above the ground on a bed of rushing water with stars in your eyes! That's exactly what you can experience in Jølet, the cabin that is specially designed to give an optimal feeling of closeness to nature. On the edge of a "jøl" (a type of riverbank), created by the river's thousand-year effort to reach the fjord, the cabin partially floats in the terrain. Situated completely by itself without close neighbors, but overlooking the cultural landscape and village, this is a perfect place for both relaxation and activity.

In this place you live at the top of the orchard at the farm Påldtun. Here you can enjoy a nice view of fjords and mountains. There is a short distance to the jetty. Here you can rent a boat and sauna or take a morning swim. You will experience life in the village with grazing animals and work that takes place in the season. When you stay in our orchard you are free to pick and eat the fruit that is on the farm. Short distance to Sandane city center. We accept bookings for mountain trips/fishing trips in our local area. Hjelle Panoramahytter offers accommodation in a unique mini-cabin in scenic surroundings, perfect for those who want a cozy and relaxing experience close to nature and traditional farming. Panoramic view of the mountain Eggenipa, "Norway's Pyramid." The cabin is equipped with a small kitchen, a bathroom with a composting toilet, a bed for two, and seating in the lounge.
