Beachfront holiday rental in Horseshoe Beach

Laura was an excellent host! Very friendly and helpful! The house was very clean and decorated beautifully. We loved sitting out on the balconies overlooking the peaceful water while our boys fished or kayaked. Definitely recommend!

I recently stayed at Pelican Vacation Home in Cedar Key, and it was an incredible experience! The stunning views of the Gulf and the peaceful surroundings made it the perfect escape. The home was spacious, spotless, and beautifully decorated, with every detail thoughtfully considered. The large deck quickly became our favorite spot for watching the sunrise and sunset, all while enjoying the ocean breeze. The fully stocked kitchen made it easy to prepare meals, and the comfortable bedrooms ensured a restful stay. The location was ideal—just a short walk to Cedar Key’s quaint shops, restaurants, and the beach, yet still offering plenty of peace and quiet. We also enjoyed kayaking and exploring the local wildlife. The owners were wonderful—responsive and helpful from start to finish, making our stay seamless. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway with all the comforts of home and stunning views, I highly recommend Pelican Vacation Home. We can't wait to visit again!

Cozy, well-stocked cottage with a beautiful view and convenient to everything Cedar Key has to offer. Love the screen porch and the outdoor seating on the grounds. Perfect for two people and our dog. We cooked meals and had everything we needed. #cedarkeystrong

This was a last minute booking as I was traveling through the area. I had the thought that if I could find something that looked peaceful & quiet then I’d go ahead and stay a couple days… Boy! This wonderful cottage did not disappoint at all!!! I ended up booking a couple more days :) Very private, very peaceful, & very beautiful!!! I won’t go on too much about this place since it very much matches the description in the listing but I will point out a couple quick highlights that are of some importance… 1) There is a local service station right up the street with a grill on site which does a fantastic job for lunch & breakfast and the general store has just about anything you’d need to tie you over if you’ve forgotten anything… 2) The wifi at this property is great! This is a huge plus considering where it’s located!!! I highly recommend this beautiful & peaceful little cottage near the water and I will definitely be back again in the near future!!! Our stay at this Cedar Keys property was absolutely wonderful. The private setting offered stunning sunset views that we enjoyed in complete seclusion. Our small dog loved having the freedom to roam around, which was a joy to watch. The property was extremely well-stocked with everything we needed - even overstocked, which was a pleasant surprise. Katie's advice to bring all our groceries was spot on and much appreciated. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone seeking a private getaway to truly relax and enjoy the natural beauty of Cedar Keys.

Kate’s home was perfect. My family and I just wanted a relaxing weekend near the water. We got that and some. Driving down to the airport and watching the planes take off was entertaining for all of us. Walking around town and eating ice cream was delicious. Awesome scented candles from the gift shops. We will be back‼️ Thank you for the hospitality Kate.

We had a great stay. It was very well stocked and comfortable. The owner even left some goodies that were a surprise. I had a few concerns about staying at a location only accessible by boat but it turned out great. It was a much needed relaxing getaway.

This is the perfect location for sitting on the balcony and watching the dolphins playing in the gulf. Easy walk into town. Clean, with every you need for a relaxing stay.

Everything was as described. Very clean and inviting. Extremely satisfied with how well it was stocked we could have showed up with nothing! We enjoyed our weekend and would stay here again!

This is not the place to stay if you’re looking for an over commercialized, overbuilt, loud party town. However, if like us, you are in need of a quiet getaway this is the perfect place! We spent an entire day on the private beach watching the dolphins play. Then went and rented kayaks another day to go out and play with them. There are DOZENS of them off the patio. The town is quaint and welcoming and Katie made many recommendations about where we should go to visit and eat. We felt right at home and can’t wait to return.

We had a great weekend stay. The view is amazing and dolphin watching was a plus! We’re already planning another trip. Thanks again!

Love spending time in Horseshoe. By far the best condo we have rented. Easy check in and out. No issues whatsoever. Will definitely rent again!

The place was awesome, very clean, morning coffee with sunrise over water. The bed could use a pillow top, it was pretty hard. Nice easy walk to town, very peaceful, nice people, we enjoyed the town. The only complaint was pool was shut down will we were there and hot tub was still broken from last storm, hoping for a some sort of refund. We will probably try staying again in a couple years when fix town up from the hurricanes.

The place was Beautiful. Plenty of parking spots for our vehicle and Golf Cart. Everything is within walking distance. Restaurants and Stores were beautiful with plenty of cute nostalgic things to purchase. 2nd Street Eatery was DELICIOUS. Loved having breakfast with the family daily. Prickly Palm had AMAZING Tasting Smoothies , coffee, Muffins and Pastries and lots of other drinks. The staff were Exceptionally welcoming.. We LOVE Cedar Key and can't wait to return soon. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your beautiful Home.

The house was very clean and plenty of room for family. Town was nice , even though they’re trying to rebuild after the last storm that hit them.

Brian and Lisa...you have a gem here! Will definitely pass the word on!! Absolutely loved Cabin 4! Can't wait to make this a yearly trip! Very peaceful and quiet! Met some nice people!

We came for a long weekend for our anniversary. Felt like price was very reasonable with it being right on the water. We were lookingto be able to just decompress from busy life and business. Close enough to restaurants but not right on top of them so we weren't in a loud party area. The place itself was clean and quaint and fit our needs/wants perfectly.

Great accommodations and great location. Room was super clean and had all you need. Nice balcony to sit and look over the beach area, and within walking distance to everything. Only recommendation is to provide clearer instructions to using the key pad if you have a late check in. Would definitely stay there again!

We enjoyed our small family visit to Cedar Key and found Brian and Lisa‘s Pirate Cove to be the perfect place to stay. The grounds are lovely and our unit was spacey and enjoyable. Our only concern was the mattress was too soft, and therefore unsupportive, which at least for us, led to difficult nights of sleep. As hosts, Brian and Lisa were extremely friendly and obviously work very hard to take care of the grounds and their guests. We took advantage of the opportunity to rent one of the golf carts for a day and this was an easy and fun way to explore the key. Cedar Key has been through a lot with last year’s storms, but we found the people, the businesses and restaurants to be resilient. If you are thinking of a visit to Cedar Key, we encourage you to go! Consider a stay at the wonderful Pirate’s Cove.

The Pink House was great! Easy to walk to downtown. We enjoyed launching our kayaks from the dock in back (check your tides schedules first).

What an amazing view. I'm honestly not sure how you could beat it. Kingfishers, pink spoonbills and osprey everywhere not to mention a night sky that will blow your mind.

Couple in our 50’s, & 8 yo grandson. Place was as described, 3 story condo. The great! Quiet private within walking or golf cart (rent from Cedar Key Adventures Dock St. recommended by hosts) skip the sketch guy outside condo area. There is a nice playground on way to Dock St action. Saw many porpoises and birds from the balconies. Clean bathroom. VERY nice remodeled kitchen Spices, Mr. Coffee, Keurig, mixer, new appliances all in a bright kitchen open to vaulted living on top floor. Main bedroom on top floor with decent king. Hear the waves! Need to know: The stairs are kinda steep, my husband’s knees were sad. Glad we did not bring our old corgi dog. The first night we went to Dock street area, was a fest going on. You needed to have a prepaid badge to get in most restaurants. Should have done our homework. Iffy internet/TV. Five stars for price and laid back Cedar Key. 4.5 in other more polished area of FL. Just have reasonable expectations and enjoy the breeze! Would return!

Couple days of getting away with my wife. Great place, great view, and close to everything. Definitely recommend staying here if you want a relaxing time in Cedar Key.
