Beds are from Neptune and bed linen from The White Company. 1 x king bed and 2 x single beds. There can be an extra single added. Bedrooms have black out curtains. There isn’t a cooker but there is a microwave, a Dualit toaster, kettle, Nespresso & small fridge. There is a fabulous pub in the village - The Bell, which serves lunch and dinner. The ‘Shepherds Rest’ is a perfect place for a romantic getaway, for walkers but it’s also perfect for business travellers who are looking for somewhere comfortable to stay I’m an experienced host who is on hand if guests need me 24/7 but I also ensure guests have privacy & a relaxing stay, nothing is too much trouble The ‘Shepherds Rest’ is situated on our beautiful family Farm Unfortunately, we can’t accommodate guest dogs as we’re a working farm with livestock and our own working dogs.

The barn was converted by ourselves over two levels - one ground floor and one underground (don't worry it is very light and airy on the lower floor!) The perfect place for a countryside getaway to totally relax and unwind. Great walking and cycling on your doorstep or just switch off, chill out and enjoy the space.

A garden office is located in the same outdoor space. This may be used occasionally by the owner during your stay.

The accommodation was once a barn dating back to 1900. It is a contemporary conversion within the rear garden of the main house. The property incorporates everything needed for a great stay. It is completely private and self-contained. The ground floor consists of an open plan living room/kitchen and is accessed by two large patio doors. A staircase leads to a light and airy bedroom with a king size bed, drawers and a wardrobe. There is an en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower.
