Our stay was great. The place was lovely. It was clean, tidy and had everything we needed. The outside spaces were amazing! Wish I had booked earlier in the year so we could've spent more time out there. November weather not so great for enjoying the evenings outside. We came for a quad ride and this place was close to the trail way. Our only concern was we had someone sensitive to scents and the air fresheners were a bit strong. we put them outside until we left, no biggie. The owner responded immediately the one time we contacted him. If I decide to return to the area, I will definitely stay there again.

Our family and dog spent a night while wanting a quick get away to visit Deer Lake. A beautiful home, her decor was like a show home. I absolutely love her style. Very clean, beds were comfortable with quality soft sheets. She allowed us to check in early which was nice as we wanted to spend a couple hours somewhere before it closed at 5. The neighbourhood was very quiet, like a retirement small home/cottage street. Properties were clean and had a sidewalk on the cottage side which we could walk our dog. We would definitely recommend this place and are looking forward to going back again, hopefully! I’d live there if I could, it was beautiful!

Evelyn's Place was an absolute gem! The views from the property are stunning, and we were lucky enough to witness the northern lights right from their balcony. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, always going the extra mile to ensure our stay was perfect. We had wonderful conversations with them that made us feel right at home. Every moment spent there was enjoyable, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!

If we could give Debbie and her place more than 5 stars, we would! This has to be one of the most peaceful and comfortable places we have ever stayed in with Airbnb - it was perfect! Debbie greeted us when we arrived, and we immediately felt right at home. We want to come back for a longer stay - one night just isn’t enough! We would highly recommend Samson’s Retreat.
