Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Hunmanby

We booked this for friends to use for their honeymoon. Charles was very accommodating and helpful when booking and the space was just perfect. Particularly appreciated was the wood fired hot tub and lots of useful local information helping them to make the most of their stay.

We loved our stay at Sunnyside Barn and would definitely recommend it. Lisa’s house is pristine, stylish, comfortable and lovely to spend time in, with a fantastic garden and patio. (It’s probably the best Airbnb we have stayed in!) The location is great for visiting beaches, seaside towns and places of interest. Lisa was a fabulous and thoughtful host, with lots of helpful advice on local places of interest and good food options. We would highly recommend Sunnyside Barn - what a find!

Second stay here and the perfect spot for a family weekend away. The outside space was great and the kids played in the garden most of the weekend, nice and handy for nipping into Filey too. Not much in the village itself but this wasn’t an issue for us as we just wanted a base for family time. A few toy boxes of toys there too which was great and saved us taking a load .

We had a great stay and my young kids adored the nice collection of books and toys to play with. Everything was as described and very comfortable!

We had a lovely stay at wonky cottage in Cayton. Accommodation was cosy, clean and well provisioned. Good location for exploring Scarborough, Filey and surrounding area. Would stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The space was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. We really appreciated the little touches that made it feel like a home away from home. The jacuzzi was lovely! The hosts were great at providing us with all the information we needed for a stress free check in/out and a perfect stay. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a mini break. Peacocks were a lovely surprise seeing them walk around the estate. Thanks again! A lovely cottage, perfect for visiting RSPB Bempton Cliffs and walking the coast path. The cottage was very clean and spacious, we were very comfortable. Gill was very responsive and helpful. We had a lovely few days there. It is worth using the train to visit Bridlington, Filey and Scarborough. A brilliant service which made exploring and walking options easy.

We arrived late so only stayed in the property a few hours. The accommodation was good and nice to have a fresh loaf of bread!

Had a lovely short stay in this lovely light flat. It’s exactly as pictured with the absolutely beautiful front room and main bedroom. Spotless, very new linen and towels. Sparkling clean with everything you’d want. I’d recommend Hila’s flat and I’d stay again.

We have just spent a lovely few days at Seas The Day. Beverley is very helpful and replies to messages very promptly. The apartment was immaculate and contained everything you might need for your stay. The view is perfect and the situation is very convenient for town, buses and parking outside was a bonus. I have no hesitation in recommending it ....so long as it is still available when we book it again.

Very comfortable clean apartment with everything you could need. The gratis bottle of wine and tea cakes were a nice touch. Easy allocated parking nearby. Great location for touring and visiting the area. Village has several places to eat/take aways and local shops. Be warned about the stairs as they are a little irregular and the pub opposite had loud music all weekend, this may just have been because it was a bank holiday and was mostly cancelled out by closing the windows.

This was our third stay in Brooklands Hideaway and it was a great as ever. If you are looking for a stay in Scarborough then it really is worth it. The flat is spacious, clean and we feel right at home. It is also just a short walk down to the beach and into town while also being tucked away from everything so is relaxing and quiet. The host is also very helpful and accommodating and check in instructions are very easy to follow.

We had a great time at Kay’s place. The location is perfect, 2 mins from the beach, central location but still peaceful. Plenty of space in the house for 2 families, 2 bathrooms a huge advantage, the outdoor area was great. Kitchen very well equipped. And the stay was made even better by getting a late check out, so we didn’t need to rush on the last day. We’ll definitely be back next year.

Rebecca’s flat is absolutely fantastic. It has everything you need for a short stay in Scarborough. Ideally located within h walking distance of the attractions, it felt like a home. Definitely recommend and would return if going to the area again. Parking is easy too.

Had a problem with the key when arrived, and it was sorted with in 15 mins. couldn't fault the price and excellent communication from host. I would recommend this property, and would myself stay again.

Fran and Dickon’s place is in a beautiful location; so peaceful, with the silence only broken by the chorus of birds! They were responsive and friendly hosts, who obviously care very much about the comfort and enjoyment of their guests. Their personal touch was very appreciated. We would stay again.

Bridlington is a beautiful sea side town. Very charming and near one of the best RSPB reserves! Bempton Cliffs RSPB is a must see if you love wildlife and nature!

This was a perfect compact little apartment. Everything was thought of. Beautifully designed and comfortably furnished. We were a short notice booking for just one night to break a long journey. All was smooth and easy. A joy!

We have stayed at Theres’s apartment every January for at least 5 years and we love it. Theresa is a wonderful and friendly host and the apartment is amazing! Can’t wait to return!

Fabulous place to stay. Calm, peaceful and a beautiful view of the sea. I stayed with my husband and two children and we loved it. Lovely walk to pub down the road and only a short drive to Scarborough, Robin hoods bay and Whitby. Would definitely like to visit again!

Gorgeous flat right by the beach, plenty of trays/cutlery etc in the kitchen and huge towels provided. Host was very friendly and helpful. Completely stress-free stay.

Location is closed to event site and also 10 minutes walk to the beach. Fast response from Joe&Roxanne. Definitely recommend.
