Cozy Slope Side Retreat

Hunter Mountain Retreat nestled in the Trailside complex is steps from the slopes. During the ski season, you can walk through parking lot & ski down to get your lift ticket. The Kaatskill Mountain Club is on the opposite side of the trails where you can go for dinner or a drink at the bar. Activities include Zipline, Skyride, Disc Golf, Horseback Riding. Trailside is by far the best & most luxurious place to stay in Hunter. Our rates are very reasonable for the luxury & location.

Original A-Frame/sauna/quiet oasis

This chalet A-Frame was the first of it's kind built by the original owners of Hunter Mountain Ski bowl! It is a mere 500 steps to the front steps of their legendary lodge. The Chalet is perfectly preserved and in a magnificent location to experience all that Hunter and it's iconic ski hill have to offer. **New HOT TUB from GOODLAND installed (easy operation & faster heating) - can be heated in any frigid cold temperatures. **Please be aware all the outdoor amenities are wood burning and their functionality depends on your abilities to properly set up/maintain the fire!!!** **firewood is provided**(bring your own fire-starter or a newspaper) **cold plunge not available during the winter however the cold outdoor shower is functional in any conditions

A one minute drive to Hunter Mountain or 10 minute (1500 foot :) walk! This cozy, newly renovated apartment is ideal for a small family or group of 4. One bedroom with a queen bed, spacious living room with a futon, bathroom, and kitchenette with dining area. This arrangement is very much like a 2 family home and this is the lower level. We recently installed security cameras on the OUTSIDE. If this is a problem for you please let us know asap.
