Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Huntingdon County

Keppy and Ron’s home and hospitality exceeded our expectations. We’ve stayed at many properties and this was easily the best of all on every level! The photos do not do the property justice. Their kindness and attention to detail really blew us away. We were incredibly cared for and well fed!

Such a pleasant house with all the amenities you need. The furnishings are beautiful and add to the charm. The space was perfect to host our family for graduation weekend. Large open sitting area in proximity to the kitchen with a large dining room to accommodate the whole family.

Brandon's place was exactly what we hoped for and more. we loved where it was located, and the place was so clean. We had a great time sitting outside on the deck and visiting with one another. I am disappointed that this was our last visit to Huntingdon because I would stay every time! Thanks for a great experience!

We had a few of our party check in before us, and Hannah was quick to accommodate. She has always been super responsive and helpful and her cottage is simply lovely. Always clean and has great activities for all. She also has an amazing binder with many ideas of things to do locally. We would love to come back again if she will let us.

This is definitely a hidden gem! A home away from home, with all things needed and those you don’t know you need until you do! Last but not least the location couldn’t be more perfect for getting around town not to mention a great view of the beautiful surroundings!

Julie and Bob were wonderful hosts. We had an unexpected death in our family and had to rent a place in hours. Julie was quick to respond to our request and aloud us to stay an our after the posted checkout time. The house was exactly as described and just what we needed.

We enjoyed our stay the location was perfect close to all the activities we had planned and close to family, The property had everything we needed for our stay and the yard was big enough for activities and for our dog to run and listening to the creek was very relaxing and the view of the Mountains was spectacular. We will definitely keep this place on our list when visiting the area.

The house was beautiful and immaculate! We only stayed one night so we didn’t have time to really explore the surrounding area but we highly recommend Sheri and her home! The couch is SO comfy!!!

My friends and I had a wonderful one-night stay at this beautifully decorated Airbnb, where everything is Penn State-themed. It brought back so many fond memories! The location is perfect—close to State College and easy to find. The place was sparkling clean, and the host was incredibly warm and welcoming. I highly recommend staying here for a cozy and nostalgic experience!

Perfect 10 out of 10 stay. Clear directions, immaculate brand new studio, location within biking distance to Allegrippis Mountain Bike Trails. Perfect communication with friendly host. Clear directions to check in and check out with a text message mid stay. EVERYTHING was provided, paper products, coffee, snacks and hygiene products. Definitely recommend a stay without hesitation. Enjoy! We did!

This was a wonderful place to stay and we're already looking forward to next time! We're used to staying in state park cabins, so this was a few steps up with a lot of added bonus features like basic linens, enough room to spread out, the animals, and a top tier campfire set up right outside. It was nice having firewood for sale at all hours right on site and the owner made us and our dog feel welcome.

This place was a great getaway for my family for Thanksgiving weekend. The property itself has enough to enjoy that you never need to leave from the fire pit, to lawn games, walks in the woods and sitting on the outdoor porch admiring the beautiful mountains at sunrise and sunset. As for the house it was spotless and the kitchen provided everything one would need to cook a feast from pots and pans, to tin foil and plastic wrap, and matches and newspaper to light fires. It was great not having to bring everything from home and all the little things the host thought to provide made the weekend that more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place!

We felt right at home and were very pleased to find it kid friendly. A very peaceful setting. Cleanliness was awesome! We liked the at home atmosphere and the creek running nearby. Would recommend it for anyone looking for something with a homey feeling.

The location was a pleasant surprise when seeing all the awesome farm animals around the property (including Walter the turkey who was pretty neat!). The owners were extremely friendly and I with them nothing but success in the future with Urban Saddle Ranch.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Beautiful house and super close to the lake! It rained all weekend but there was plenty of fire wood to keep dry. The jacuzzi was great!!! The perfect weekend get away to unwind and enjoy the outdoors.

Gary is an amazing guy, welcomed me with open arms and even gave some history behind the cabin. The view is absolutely gorgeous and his dog is so adorable I just wanted to take him for the weekend 😂 ❤️ will definitely be coming back soon!

We had an amazing stay at this cozy cabin in Petersburg! It’s beautifully put together, secluded, and offers that perfect “middle of nowhere” feeling we were looking for. Ruth was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout our stay. We especially loved the fire pit, and it was such a bonus to have firewood and supplies already there. Truly a peaceful and well-thought-out getaway—highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay! On a rainy weekend, the comfortable couches, smart TVs, and screened-in porch were all appreciated. I've never needed to bring my own towels to an Airbnb before, and for the price we paid it would have been nice for them to be included. That would be my only suggestion for improvement!

Beautiful home! We enjoyed a quiet, relaxing getaway. The home has everything you could possibly need. It is decorated very nicely and it was clean! Kacie was very responsive and helpful!

Brook and Sarah’s cabin on the river was just perfect for our Memorial Day weekend. We biked at nearby Allegrippis trails and hiked at Trough Creek State. The local bike shop Rothrock Outfitters helped out with e-bike rentals for the trail and the hike recommendation. Steck’s for pizza was yummy. Giants and Walmart were close by for last-minute things. Communication was always quick with Brook for some quick questions. The cabin was so comfortable we wished we could have stayed longer. We would definitely stay again.

Great place! Very quiet and the little stream by the house provides great ambiance, loved to keep my window open when sleeping! Spacious kitchen and living room. Plenty of towels and the bathrooms were very clean! Not much to do around the area besides parks and whatnot but the home was very enjoyable to stay in, there was cornhole and a pool table! We didn't end up using the hot tub but it was warm and covered when we got there! Perfect place to stay if looking for a quiet mountain getaway!
