AJ's Little Ranch Guest Suite in Hyde Park

Pass through the private entrance and into a lodge-like hideaway modeled on Ralph Lauren's famous ranch. Rich leather and warm wood finishing deliver a rustic-but-modern feeling. Watch cable TV or use your favorite streaming app via an Amazon Firestick from the comfort of the electric reclining luxurious bed. Guest will have all they need for a short weekend visit or an extended stay with a dedicated bathroom, their own fully functional kitchenette (with the exception of an oven) and a quaint area providing a worktop for eating or working. The guests will have exclusive access to the entire private suite during their stay. The host’s private residence is located just above the Airbnb unit and encompasses the remainder of the home. Guest are asked to remember that the yard, patio, porch, upper levels of the home and the locked storage portion of the lower level just adjacent to the Airbnb unit is unavailable to guests. The host will never enter the rented unit without gaining prior permission from the guest or in the case of a life-threatening emergency or a disaster related to the home. Guests can enjoy an autonomous stay with an optional self check in through a separate, keyless entry to the private unit. Although it allows for a carefree, independent stay, guests can rest well knowing their hosts are close by. In fact, they live in the same home, just above where the unit is located making it easy to get answers or receive assistance during their stay. The eclectic mix of grand homes in this historic Hyde Park neighborhood has an energized spirit that conveniently brings guests to the pulse of the City's heartbeat. Travel under 2 miles to sports arenas and the vibrant Power and Light District. For those guests that have a car, there is off street, well lit, covered parking just a few steps from the entrance. If you require alternate transportation, Kansas City has several choices for getting around the city. Uber, Lyft and Z-trip (cabs) - These are smart phone app based scheduling options. Rides can be requested using their smart phone apps that are downloaded from your phones app store. City Buses - The Airbnb is located on the city bus route and can be accessed from more than 5 bus stop within a 3 block radius of the rental. These give access to all routes throughout the city. Bus runs 7 days a week but frequency and schedules vary. Generally they are available Mon-Fri, 5 am to midnight and Sat-Sun, 9 am to 2 am but should be verified on the RIDEKC website. Streetcar - The Kansas City Street car is free and runs every 15 minutes between Crown Center and the River Market. The details can be found on the RideKC website. Ride share bikes - Public bike rental stations are available throughout the city. Information found at the KCbcycle website. Ride share scooters - For shorter distances or a fun way of sight seeing in the city; two ride share scooter options are available: Lime and Bird . To quickly get started and get further details, search for Bird or Lime apps on your smart phone in your providers app store. When guest arrive, they should pull in and proceed up through the stone walls on either side to the top to park under the covered carport parking space nestled within the wooden fence. The Airbnb unit has its own private entrance about half way down the driveway on the side of the house. Guest will enter using the keyless entry code provided to them in the check in procedures. After proceeding down to the lower level, guests will have exclusive access to the entire private suite during their stay. The property shares a common driveway with the home next door. Although they understand Airbnb guests will be staying in the unit, we ask that you be courteous and quiet when outside, parking or transferring luggage to the unit. This is especially important in the evening hours or overnight. Justin and Aaron ask that you contact us upon arrival to let us know you’ve made it safely and without issue. At that time, they can answer any questions you have, give you a brief introduction to the space or you may choose to independently explore and discover the space on your own. Since we live just above the unit, guest should feel free to call or text should they need anything during their visit. Housekeeping, linen and supply refreshment will be done on the following schedule unless a specific request is made by the guest: 1-6 night stays Occurs after the guest checks out on the last day of their stay Weekly, 7 nights Occurs after the guest checks out on the last day of their stay. However, guests may make specific requests to replenish supplies or identify housekeeping needs. Monthly 7-30 days Occurs on the 7th day of the guests stay and each weekly anniversary day thereafter. Prearrangements will be made with the guest to determine the best time. Below is an inventory of items the guests are provided as part of the Airbnb. Please let us know if there is something you require during your stay that is not on the list and we’ll do our best to include it prior to your arrival. New construction, modern 1 bedroom apartment located in an old established neighborhood. Private entrance, up one flight of stairs with a keypad on the door. Fully equipped kitchen also has 3-stage filtered water straight from the tap. Great location, close to Downtown, Crowne Center, Union Station, and Hospital Hill. Near the Plaza and Westport. Walking distance to several local restaurants and yoga. We are 23 miles from the KC Int'l airport. Super comfy and cute!! Your own balcony too!
