Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Hydra

We felt welcomed as if we were in our own house looked after our mother. She offered us snack, regular cleaning, made us recommendations about food, beaches, even helped me with private matter. She’s one of the best hosts I had to date since using the app! The place was very clean and very well equipped.

Elena's place is perfectly located. Easy walk to tavernas, cafe's restaurants, the harbour, and shops etc. The house itself is very rustic and homely, with basic facilities. It has a wonderful balcony with harbour views. Elena was very responsive and helpful, as was her mum who lived next door. If you want an authentic Greek experience I highly recommend this listing.

This was the perfect home away from home retreat: the house itself was tastefully decorated, clean, and comfortable, with everything we needed to prepare and enjoy peaceful meals together in the various communal spaces. It was conveniently located by a well-stocked supermarket, as well as within 10-15 minutes’ walking distance to the restaurants and beaches of Hydra. Our host sent us lots of recommendations and was friendly and responsive throughout our trip. We would be delighted to stay here again!

3 Nächte im Secret Paradise waren definitiv zu kurz. Uns hat die gut ausgestattete und perfekt eingerichtete Unterkunft sehr gut gefallen. Empfehlungen für Ausflugsziele, Tavernen etc. haben wir ausreichend erhalten und diese haben uns ebenfalls sehr gefallen. Die Unterkunft eignet sich perfekt um vom Alltag abzuschalten - eine privatere Lage geht kaum.

I stayed at Xanthi's place with my three girlfriends and we had a fantastic time there. The house is lovely and cozy, equipped with everything that we needed. It was very clean and comfortable, with spacious terrace and garden (with turtles in the backyard!). There were fans both in the house and outside, which allowed us to survive the high temperatures. Additionally, all windows and door have an anti mosquitoes net so we didn't have any bugs in the house. Xanthi's house is located walking distance from both ports - Skala and Megalochori. The nearest beach and supermarket are 5 minutes walking from the house. Xanthi is a lovely host- we felt very welcome and she was ready to reply to all our inquiries. She also let us check-in earlier which was much appreciated as we were tired after a long travel. After the check-out we were allowed to leave our luggage on the terrace, as we still had a couple of hours until our ferry was departing. Overally, this was a wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful time! The host was wonderful, kind and very responsive. Check in went very smoothly, we came with our three children who enjoyed the place so much. The location is just great! Very central, close to the water but still hidden and private all at the same time. Highly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Anna und Dimitris waren perfekte Gastgeber. Zur Begrüßung gab es gleich einige griechische Leckereien (unter anderem eine sehr leckere Orangenmarmelade und eine riesige Schale mit Früchten). Außerdem gab es viele tolle Vorschläge zu Ausflugsziele und Restaurants in der Umgebung. Das Haus ist sehr schön gelegen mit einer großen überdachten Veranda und einer stimmigen Einrichtung. Absolut alles was man so braucht ist vorhanden. Die Lage war für uns perfekt, es gibt einige Badestellen wenige Gehminuten entfernt und auch das Ortszentrum mit Restaurants und diversen Läden ist in 5 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Außerdem gibt es viel zu entdecken in der Gegend, einen Tagesausflug nach Hydra kann ich z.B. sehr empfehlen. Zwar liegt das Haus in einer ruhigen Gegend, wer absolute Ruhe schätz sollte jedoch bedenke dass das Haus im Ort liegt mit entsprechender gelegentlicher Geräuschkulisse. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen und ich kann es absolut empfehlen!

Fabulous apartment, well equipped with many kitchen gadgets, spacious lounge, lovely balcony with sea views. No complaints. The apartment was a considerable distance away from Poros town, more than indicated on the Air B&B map. It is very close to Petros Beach which is our favourite beach with a great taverna behind so we were not too disappointed but it meant a long walk into town and a taxi back. This wasn't a problem for us but could be a deal breaker for others. In the age of computer technology I would think it an easy error to rectify.

Das Haus von Georgios ist ein traumhafter Ort, inmitten eines großen Gartens mit Zitronen und Orangenbäumen und mit direktem Zugang zum Meer. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön, geschmackvoll und individuell eingerichtet. Aber das absolute Highlight ist die große Dachterrasse mit der wundervollen Aussicht, auf der man es auch bei Hitze gut aushalten kann. Eine gute Taverne und eine Strandbar sind in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen.

Easily one of the best places to stay on Hydra. You’ve got two balconies overlooking the marina, one from the bedroom and another from the living room. The place is super clean and spacious. Julieta, our host, is everything you expect from a great host. We’ll be back again.

This apartment exudes a wonderful aura of warmth and hospitality. It is the cleanest home I've ever encountered. Every detail, from the bath plug to the french press plunger, gleams! This, along with the tasteful decor paired with the impeccable functionality of the kitchen - stocked with every utensil and appliance one could want - reveals the owner's considerate and caring attention to the experience of his guests. Kostas, the property manager, is outstanding! He was so proactive and accommodating, meeting me at the port and helping me with my many bags after a big day of travel (predicting I would need help), organising a car for me at the last minute, and responding to my every request kindly. Beyond his professionalism, he's also a very knowledgable person. When I asked him questions it was clear he is rich in knowledge of Aegina as well as the history and politics of Greece, which I really valued.

I can’t express enough just how brilliant this AirBnB is. Christos is extremely helpful, a fantastic host. The images don’t show just how lovely and homely the Airbnb is, or how perfect this location is. The pristine sea is quite literally on your doorstep with canoes available for sunset trips. It’s extremely quiet, with two lovely tavernas within a few minutes walk available to enjoy delicious traditional food.

Loved our stay here, the flat is super clean, peaceful and comfortable. Yannis and his mother were really helpful, we had to cut our stay short unfortunately as there was a ferry strike and Yannis was very communicative and refunded us the last days of our stay. Would definitely recommend staying here when visiting Agistri!

We had a wonderful stay at Panagiotis' place. the villa was perfectly clean and had all we needed. the pool was lovely, my children loved the diving board, and the privacy was amazing. it's in a quiet and peaceful neighbourhood, with grocery stores in 5-10 minutes walk. Leonidas was also incredibly flexible, he met us at the property even though our arrival time changed to 5am at the last minute! he showed us all around the property and answered our questions quickly whenevre something came up. I'll just note that the pool is deep and there is no fence around it, so it's not suitable for families with small children. נהנו מנופש מצוין אצל פנאגיוטיס. וילה מקסים עם נוף מדהים, בריחה יפה עם קרש צלילה שילדינו אהבו, בכפר קטן ושקט עם חנות מזון ב5-10 דקות הליכה. ליונידס עזר לנו מאד, פגש לנו בוילה אפילו בשעת 5 לפנות בוקר, והגיב במהירות לכל שאלה שלנו. רק תדעו שהבריכה עם מים עמוקים ובךי גדר, אז הוילה לא מתאימה למשפחות עם ילדים קטנים.

We had the most wonderful stay at Maria's villa for our family vacation. The location was absolutely perfect—just a short walk from fantastic restaurants, two grocery stores, and two bakeries, which made everything incredibly convenient. But the true highlight was the breathtaking view of the sea, which we enjoyed every single day. The villa itself was spotless and beautifully maintained. It truly felt like a home away from home. Maria was incredibly generous, leaving us a lovely welcome basket filled with goodies, which was such a thoughtful touch. Jimmy was outstanding—he met us at the port, helped us organize taxis, and shared great local recommendations. He also kept us updated with anything we needed to know, including local news like power or water outages, which was really helpful and reassuring. We would absolutely recommend this villa to anyone looking for a peaceful, scenic, and comfortable stay. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

Katerina’s home was absolutely perfect for our stay in Spetses! Katerina was super sweet and communicated with us prior to our arrival. She met us at the port and had a taxi to move our luggage to the Airbnb. Upon arrival we noticed a fully stocked kitchen (coffee, milk, water, snacks) and very clean bedrooms and bathrooms. Katerina gave us many recommendations and was super helpful and responsive. We will definitely stay at her home again in the future when we visit Spetses again!!!

My review may be a bit different from others . As Greek Americans visiting this location was beyond our expectations! First off the kind Emy made sure she had supplied both yes both refrigerators with all of our requests. The house , balconies, pool area are pristine! This is where my review becomes different. My family who are Greek and live in Athens were literally shocked with the home for its beauty ,cleanliness and comfort. We went out one night for dinner . We loved the home so much we either cooked or ordered in and watched the sunsets . We celebrated my sisters 60th birthday, my husband was able to work ( WiFi is great) , my nephew even got to watch all the soccer games he wanted ! The lower level leading to the pool is literally a full apartment with 2 bedrooms, kitchen and sitting area. My older kids really loved that bit of separation. I truly could go on and on about this home . Truthfully it is the first time I have felt that relaxed away from home . Must visit!

This place was hands down the best we, or anyone in our group, have ever stayed at. It's absolutely beautiful, modern, and offers plenty of indoor and outdoor space, including a fantastic outdoor kitchen that's perfect for groups. We loved absolutely everything about this place - the breathtaking views, the comfortable accommodations, and the charming nearby town of Epivadros. We used this location as our starting point to explore various nearby places, and there's even a beach just a short drive from the villa. Chrysthania was incredibly generous with the amenities. The kitchen was fully stocked, and she even surprised us with cold drinks. She went above and beyond and arranged us with a delicious dinner in the villa on our first night as we got to the villa around midnight after a long day. With plenty of room to accommodate all 14 of us in comfort and luxury, we can't recommend this place enough

Dimitri's place is a beautiful house in a very convenient location. 5 minutes from the center of Dapia, walkable to both Old and New Port, including Ferry dock. We were 4 adults and 2 small kids and we felt very much comfortable, like at home. Kids were able to use the downstairs living room to study and play, and we enjoyed the various size terraces that surrounded the house. Stocked refrigerator, fully operational kitchen, 2 coffee machines, and large table outside made our breakfasts very enjoyable. You can reach a large supermarket, bakery, and several small shops with 5 minutes walking. Mind you, the area (actually the whole island) might be noisy due to motorbikes and ATVs speeding around but that's not the host's fault. All in all it was a great stay.
