Welcome to our small, charming guest house, which is peacefully located in idyllic Sørbøvåg. Here you live surrounded by beautiful nature, with great hiking opportunities right outside the door and a short distance to the fjord for swimming, fishing, paddling or boating. The house has one bedroom, a small bathroom, and a simple kitchenette with everything you need to prepare meals. The guest house is perfect for one or two people. You will also have access to a garden with a beautiful view of the fjord and Lihesten.

You have what you need of equipment to enjoy the cabin life and tranquility. Everything is set up to enjoy the good life, breakfast on the terrace, listening to birds chirping, the view to the sea and the nature surrounding you.

Hytte med flytebrygge & sjøutsikt fra terrassen. Terassen er på 35 kvm. Det er ein dobbeltseng og 3 enkeltsenger fordelt på 2 soverom. Hemsen har 2 madrasser, stige/trapp opp til hemsen. Annekset har 3 sengeplasser. 30 meter til bademulighet i sjøen fra svaberg, 3-4 min å gå til Joker-marvarebutikk og en liten sandstrand. Du kan eventuelt padle til butikken med kajakken eller ro i gummibåten. Området er kjent for å ha et myldrende båtliv på sommeren. Det er mange merkede turløyper i nærområdet.

Anbefalt å se i nærområdet: Gamle ruiner fra 2.verdenskrig. Rikt øyrike der du kan gå heilt ut til fyrlykten. Gulatingsparken, 20 minutt med bil. Sykkelveier. I vinterhalvåret kan du oppleve Nordlys, eller vakker stjernehimmel . Fergen går over fjorden, og til Solund.(gratis ferge) Husk å handle før du kommer, ikke butikk i Rutledal. Velkommen.

Here you will find many opportunities for good hiking areas, small and high mountains, fishing, sea bathing and a wealth of nature experiences. Boat rental at the local shop is possible. On the main floor there is the entrance hall, bathroom, living room and kitchen. 50m2 terrace from mainfloor. Upstairs are 3 bedrooms, with up to 7 sleeps.

The old schoolhouse

Welcome to the old schoolhouse at Vassenden in Sørbøvåg, the place for peace and quiet. The old schoolhouse was used as a school for the surrounding villages, from 1910-1959. In recent times, the house has had a significant upgrade and we spend a lot of time here ourselves. The house is beautifully situated, next to a lake and right between beautiful mountains.

The house is right by the fjord, and the view of the fjord and the mountain is fantastic. The area is suitable for hiking in nature along the lake or in the mountains using marked hiking trails in the nearby area. With its own jetty and a small boat, everything is suitable for both fishing and for having great experiences out in nature.
