This guest house is located in a quiet residential neighborhood in Ibaraki City. There is a river running right next to it, so you can enjoy nature during your stay. There is a cafe with a hedgehog motif on the ground floor, where you can enjoy delicious coffee and baked goods. You can also take a bus from the bus stop, a 4-minute walk from the guest house, to JR and Hankyu stations, making transportation convenient. There are also delicious bakeries and convenience stores nearby, and a shopping mall is about a 20-minute walk away for you to enjoy shopping. The room has a full kitchen, washing machine, washroom, separate toilet and bathroom, making it suitable for long-term stays. The room is about 9 tatami mats, so it can accommodate up to 5 people. Guests will receive a welcome drink coupon that can be used at the cafe on the ground floor! Nishimura Residence is an old-fashioned Nara-machiya that has been standing on a piece of Nara-machi for more than 100 years. I was a “grandmother” for a long time when I was a child. In Nara Town, there is a pleasant despicable feeling that never changes. "I want to be filled with this pleasant contempt even for future generations." With that in mind, I took care of the empty Nishimura Residence. - Nishimura-Tei is originally a traditional Japanese house which has been here in Nara-machi town over 100 years, where my grandmother used to live in. My mother and I decided to renovate this house to preserve and pass down the virtue of good old days in Japan to the next generation as well as to show it to you.
