Considering tokyo is quite expensive, this accommodation was great value and the location was good. Enough space for 2-3 people.

Shohei's place was easily accessible from the train with a few convenient options for quick food and drink. The communication was always clear and quick. The house was very clean and we loved the comfy bedding. It felt like a very authentic Japanese neighbourhood experience- which does mean activities of neighbours upstairs can be heard easily but that's just how homes are here and wasn't too bad. We LOVED the tiny restaurant directly across the road run by a sweet little old lady who made the most delicious, wholesome meals.

I'm taking a break with my friends. 4 people stayed, but it was just right for 4 people to stay (1 bathroom, etc...) I think it'll work for up to 5-6 people. The inconvenience of having to wash the towels? There was this, but there was detergent and a washing machine + dryer, and even a drying rack, so it wasn't as inconvenient as I thought.

I had a wonderful stay! The hosts were outstanding – incredibly kind, always available, and super quick to respond. I felt genuinely welcomed and appreciated throughout my time there. The apartment is beautifully decorated and clean. It truly felt like a home away from home, and it had everything I needed for daily life. The location is also perfect – just a few steps from the subway station and several convenience stores. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone visiting Tokyo, and I’m already looking forward to staying here again on my next trip! 🩷

Lovely place to stay, super clean, plenty of clean towels, shower gel/shampoo provided, amenities great. Lots of 7-11s or equivalent around. Short walk to metro station and easy to get anywhere on the underground, including the airport. TK was responsive, helpful and generous. Can’t fault our stay (3 adults) and would definitely recommend.

This place was so cozy for me and my two friends, just the right amount of space for people who were not going to be there all day! The neighborhood is such a peaceful area and free of the city noise that we were walking around all day, definitely felt like coming back to a home. These small complaints are super minor, but there is no elevator here so if you are bringing lots of luggage, maybe pack less! Fortunately me and my team did not have much but it was noticeable especially with the much narrower staircase. Overall, perfect stay. Thank you Tomoaki!

I stayed with my mother this time. The owner couple was very friendly and kind. There are some condiments in the kitchen, which is helpful.The room was spacious, so I was able to relax. It is a space where you can hear the chirping in the morning and healing. I also enjoyed the sword fighting experience. I'd like to stay again. It is also a sight to see Mt. Tsukuba, which is lined with walls.It was so lovely. He told us that there was a bagel shop nearby and a delicious izakaya. I look forward to walking around again next time. Brilliant facilities and just about what you would need for a place in Tokyo. A bit out of the way of the centre but that did not bother us!

This is a very convenience location, lots of shops within walking distance, is not next door but say 5 mins walk. What is important to me is the aircon heater as I am very afraid of cold but it is working well ( it was snowing on my 1st night!) and the pillow is so comfortable. The host will try her best to attend to your queries. You have the kitchen, living, bath, toilet and a separate bedroom all to yourself on the second level. The host & her mum provides towel, shower wash, shampoo, hairdryer, washing machine ( w powder) , kitchen stuff, usb port. I do not use all as I was alone. However like all japan airbnb, you got to be careful with power consumption. On the heater of one room at one time. use the kettle or microwave at one time. If you have big luggage, try to have someone to help you as this is second floor and the stairs are narrow and steep but I managed ( do it slowly & carefully) on my own as well. Else for this pricing point, it is hard to beat.

We stayed for 5 nights with two toddlers. The host wasn’t able to provide us with a crib, but they did provide a high chair. The place looks exactly like the photos. It was bright, and tastefully decorated. It was a comfortable place for us to spend time, and felt big enough for the kids to play around. There was one tall set of stairs to get into the unit, so expect to carry your suitcase briefly. The hosts were very easy to communicate with, and always responded in a timely manner. The location was about a 1km walk from the nearest train station. It was always a beautiful walk and did not feel long at all. The walk/train combination took about 40 minutes to get into Tokyo hot spots. There were restaurants and an Aeon nearby for all of your needs. We would highly recommend this location to anyone wanting a bright and quiet stay. We would happily return!

The house is clean and suitable for a single person or a couple. There is kitchenware for simple cooking. A little problem when I check in, the Google maps pointed to a wrong road, it is recommended to use Apple's own maps to be more accurate. The key was on the ground on the right hand side of the fence, as I checked in at night I didn't notice the key box on the ground first time. It would be clearer if provide photos. If you are carrying oversized suitcases it can be a bit inconvenient to go up and down the stairs here as they are very narrow, but if you are a backpacker staying here it is perfect and it is only a 2 minute walk to Kita-ikebukuro Station!

Loved our stay! The apartment itself felt bigger compared to other apartments we have stayed during our time in Japan, and I really appreciated the preservation in Japanese culture within the apartment itself (with things like decoration, furniture, etc.). Very comfortable futons, a nice bathroom setup, and the kitchen was spacious. Never have felt more welcome!! Thank you to Mizuki for letting us have such a wonderful stay <3

This time in a homestay was unforgettable.The sun shines on the wood floor, warm and peaceful, and the disturbance of the heart is all calmed by the silence at night.The homestay is more than a place to live, it is more like a short home to feel the good and warmth of a simple life.

Our host was very nice and responsive to our questions.The instructions and house rules sent were easy to understand. The apartment was clean but smaller than we expected, it is just nice for 2/3 people. The neighbourhood is quiet but it has a lot of stores such as supermarket, drug store, convenience stores and laundromat (there’s a small laundromat near the supermarket ) within a short walking distance. The nearest train station (Keisei-Koiwa station) is a short walk away and you can walk about 20 minutes to Koiwa station on the Chuo-Sobu line. From Keisei-Koiwa station, you can take to Narita Airport directly without transfers).

We had a lovely stay at this cozy apartment in a quiet neighborhood near Gotanno Station. The room isn’t big, but it truly felt like home. It had everything we needed, from a kitchen and washing machine to thoughtful touches like a first aid kit and in-room baggage storage. The area is peaceful yet super convenient, with several convenience stores and a large supermarket nearby. Gotanno Station is just a short 3–5 minute walk away and offers a direct line to Ueno, with easy transfers to other major lines. The host and co-host were incredibly responsive and helpful, especially with local recommendations. We’d definitely stay here again if we get the chance! The room is very clean, the residential area is clean and convenient. The neighborhood is a five-minute walk from 7-11 and familymart. It can accommodate 5-7 people. Transportation is also conveniently located 4 minutes on foot from the jk line.Hosts are responsive, and the information provided is accurate and reliable, recommending family travel options.

very well informed both for access to the accommodation and the activities and places we wanted to see. the accommodation is very small and convenient for a single person or couple (stairs and ladder for sleeping can be complicated with children or the elderly for example) good location and very quiet, nice to have a good night's sleep after discovering Japan 😁
