Cabin holiday rentals in Idaho City

My husband and I stayed here for a couple days and it was a wonderful getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city! There is a beautiful view of the middle fork of the Payette River, especially from the second stories windows. There were quite a few people floating the river the first day we were there, but the house is so well insulated that you couldn't hear any noise from the river or street when you are inside, which made it very peaceful. The home had everything we needed to have a great stay and was very clean. The Wifi worked well enough for my husband to dial in to a couple of work calls the morning we left, which was great. The hot tub was a lot of fun because it added something else to do at the property so we could just relax without going anywhere. There were plenty of board games, a cool XBOX nook, and books to enjoy as well. I didn't open my computer the whole time we were there! We plan to book it again and bring our two kids next time. We loved this cabin! Felt like we were in the middle of the wilderness while less than 30 min from town! Couldn’t have asked for a better setting. Everything was clean and worked as expected, though we did not try the hot tub. Loved the layout of the cabin as well.

This was just the getaway we needed. The space was unique and fun. Sara was responsive and took care of any issues right away. She made sure we were comfortable and was very accommodating. We hope to stay here again soon!

Could not have stayed in a better Airbnb!! We stayed here for a friends birthday as a little mountain getaway and it was just what we needed! The place had everything we possibly needed for our stay and more. Janie put lots of thought in her home and it shows. The house was also super clean and had so much to do. The hot tub at night was our favorite part! Beds were super comfy and the house had lots of space for us 4 adults. Janie was very responsive and always one step ahead to ensure we had the best time. If you’re in Idaho City you have to stay here!

This cabin is so well thought out and is absolutely beautiful! The location is very peaceful and private yet close enough to access all the amenities nature and town has to offer. We had a lovely stay!

A beautiful home, private, clean and serene. We loved sitting outside every morning with our coffee and admiring the peace and quiet. The home was laid out nicely for our entire family to enjoy for my birthday weekend. Terrace Lakes Resort was close for us to play golf. Great place!

Driveway is, as many have mentioned, STEEP. If your going in the winter make sure you have a vehicle that's equipped for that. Our summer stay was perfect my car made it up no problem even though it's not a 4x4. Home was super clean and Modern. Huge TV in the living room and the game room downstairs also has TVs for when your shooting pool or using the workout equipment. Firepits are great for relaxing out there at night. Kitchen and dining area is open and has plenty of seating both at the dinning table or the breakfast bar. Yes there is a seperate unit on the property but aside from people coming and going for a few minutes just two sepearte times we were unbothered and had our privacy. We had a Comfortbale stay up in the mountains and the game room downstairs was the highlight provided us with plenty of entertainment.

Great quick getaway for Father’s Day. Very close to Terrace Lakes resort for swimming. Place was clean and host was responsive and helpful.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The house has such a cozy, welcoming feel, and the river view is simply beautiful. This place truly brings you so much peace. It’s the perfect place to disconnect and unwind, surrounded by nature! If we had to mention one small thing, it would be that the bed wasn’t the most comfortable for us — but everything else about the stay more than made up for it. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to relax and recharge!

Comfortable, well stocked cabin located in very peaceful, beautiful surroundings. The back deck was a haven of birdsong after a day of exploring. Inside and out, it was perfectly clean. Angie made sure we had everything we needed and made suggestions for day trips. She couldn't have been more accommodating. Tip: ask for turn by turn photos to get to the cabin the first time and you won't have any trouble finding it.

Quiet neighborhood, loved the nice big windows. Place was comfortable and open.

We enjoyed our stay at Peace and Pines Cabin! Google maps directions actually were accurate and lead us right there! The downhill approach just before the the cabin made me pause just for a second but really is easy to maneuver. House was just as pictured and described. 20 year old granddaughter and friend enjoyed the bonus room over the garage tremendously! All in all a good time was had by all! We would definitely stay again!!

We cannot say enough good things about our stay at Sharif’s cabin! It was absolutely beautiful inside and out, spotlessly clean, and had everything we needed to feel right at home. Our host greeted us when we arrived and was more than accommodating for anything we needed, including local recommendations. We took many strolls down by the river, visited the nearby hot springs, and went horseback riding in Grandjean. Everything was perfect! We were so pleased to have found this cabin and stayed here. We didn’t want to leave!!

Perhaps the cutest rental we’ve had. So clean and full of thoughtful amenities to make it comfortable and fun for families. The view of the lake is exceptional. Can’t wait to go back another season!

Just the right home for my small work crew to feel comfortable in, with all the necessities and some extra amenities. Felt more like a home than some rentals do, very functional and cozy, plenty of cookware and appliances without being cluttered. Great location along a small creek and a trail leading into downtown. Kym was very kind and made sure we had everything we needed.

For couples in the TV, it’s a quick and easy trip, well worth the stay. It was a hidden gem, to get away from the life of the city. About 15 miles from The Springs/Idaho City. Sitting on the deck, overlooking the creek and listening to water, was very relaxing.

We loved our stay! Our sons loved exploring the backyard and seeing all of the wildlife. The hosts were wonderful! We have already talked about staying here again in the future.

This is the second time I’ve visited this place and I cannot recommend it enough. My family felt so peaceful and cozy. The beds were great for a nights rest. Lot of items available to use in the kitchen. Very roomy and spacious. Lots of conversation places. We will be back for sure.

The purpose of our stay was an overnight stay with another couple who hadn’t been to starlight before. We liked the layout of the cabin as it has a feel of two spaces. Upstairs with its own loft & bedroom, and downstairs with a living room, bathroom & bedroom. Worked well with two couples, but would work well for a family as well. Quick tip if visiting in summer: Keep the upstairs bedroom door closed to help control the heat that rises. Thankfully there is a stand alone AC unit in the bedroom above the bed to help control temp. It is in a very quiet and peaceful location. Great getaway from the city. Make sure to follow the hosts instructions. Enter the address of terrace lakes first, then “add a stop” & enter the address. That’s what worked for us. The host was accommodating & responsive. Checking in is super simple with keyless entry. Easy peasy. We’d definitely stay again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Absolutely the perfect place to call home for our girls trip to the mountains. Tanner’s place was very secluded and private, while still being within close proximity to downtown Crouch. The inside was clean, tastefully decorated, and had all of the furnishings and amenities we needed for a terrific stay. Would definitely stay here again.
