If I could give Leigh-Anne a 10 star review, I absolutely would. My husband and I were traveling from the states on our honeymoon, never having visited the Netherlands and not really being travelers, period. We honestly had no idea what we were doing - Leigh-Anne jumped in and was so kind and helpful. She was so clear in describing where the Airbnb is, not leaving out any important details of how it was on an island, needing to travel to and from by ferry, how often the ferry ran, etc. Luckily we are not big nightlife people and booked the cottage for peaceful refuge and that is just what we got. My husband and I are animal/nature lovers, so the fact there are goats and a rooster were icing on the cake. There are endless fields with wildlife, flowers, cows that you can see from the bedroom window when you wake up and a nice set up outside that is perfect for enjoying some coffee with the goats and birds. The houseboat itself is a dream and superbly located, if on the one hand you love the beauty and tranquility of the countryside, sheep and green meadows on your doorstep, but on the other hand also like to go to the beach or to the cities. The train is quickly reached and that is a big plus in the parking situation in Amsterdam. Leonora and Erwin were easy to reach and always there for us when we had questions. Super friendly hosts! The most beautiful and comfortable stay we have had in the Netherlands. A great host with passion, who enthusiastically talks about the area and the rich history. The communication was excellent and the beautiful, soothing environment ensures that you can completely relax. Absolutely recommended for everyone, we are guaranteed to come back!

Nadja and Bauke were very welcoming and very flexible. The house is beautiful and finds itself in the beautiful old center of Woudsend and it had everything we would need for a great getaway weekend! We will definitely come back and enjoy it once more!

We had a great stat at Karina’s boat house. It is probably one of the more unique locations we’ve stayed at. From the Central traine station you jump on the free ferry across the channel and then walk for about 5 mins to get to the boathouse. There are bars and restaurants close to the hose. On the same street as the boathouse is the ONS restaurant/bar which is really worth a stop. The boathouse is small but it has a small kitchenette and a roomy bathroom. There is a terrace right outside the door that rests on the water. Beautiful place to have a morning coffee or an apperitif in the evening. The sleeping arrangements were fun and definately something new for us. Somewhat nostalgic as you climb a ladder to get up to the bunkbed like mezzanine bed. Felt like a kid again! The neighborhood is quiet and tucked away from the hussle and bussle of downtown Amsterdam. Yet it only takes a quick walk and a 4 mins ferry ride to be right in the middle of everything. Highly recommend!

Top spot to stay overnight in full peace. Cozy tiny house with wellness facilities. Very satisfied with our stay and always had good contact with the hostess and host. Highly recommendable!

Arrive and feel comfortable: warm welcome, short briefing and tips. Private retreat with nice terrace and small garden at the back out to the water. Surrounded by water, great nature. Individual since you have to take the ferry to get there ( 2 min)- uncomplicated. We used the house as a couple and found everything we need for a nice getaway. Recommended

Had a great time. The hot tub was heated for us and it was a wonderful place where we could relax and enjoy. Nice ducks and chickens walked around and their sweet dog also came to say hello from time to time. A friend of ours was stranded in Epe in the evening and they were also so kind to offer a lift to pick her up! Super sweet people, we felt completely welcome and enjoyed it tremendously! Definitely recommended and we will definitely come back again. A place we will recommend!

I had an amazing time at the cabin. I am a florist and I came from the USA for the flowers and to learn as much as I could about them, the farming, the flower auctions & the marketing and advertising while I was here. I was traveling solo and her cabin is a perfect location for it all and I felt safe there through out my stay. I also loved the fact that I had the quiet woods and farmland surrounding me but could also be at the beach in a blink of an eye! She was an amazing host with the biggest heart and wonderful recommendations. I so wish to come back one day with my daughter. The cabin and The Netherlands have my heart now! :) Thank you for an amazing trip. P.s.- If you plan to stay here, maybe bring a flashlight because the trail in the woods to the cabin can get a little dark at night! ;)

The accommodation is beautifully designed - stylish interior, cozy atmosphere and a huge highlight: the large bathroom with a free-standing bathtub and sauna. Above all, the location is also unbeatable and directly by the forest. Pigs, pheasants and chickens are in adjacent enclosures. Pets are welcome and the hosts are easily accessible. All in all great! We hope to book this accommodation again soon :)

We had a great stay in the Netherlands. The accommodation is impeccable, bright, clean, in accordance with the description on the site. We couldn't ride our bikes because of the bad weather, but we'll do it another time. I recommend this real cocooning accommodation. We will return to this beautiful area.

We had a wonderful stay in the lovingly furnished guest house. Everything is available and everything in the apartment is described in a self-explanatory way. The guest house is very clean, the double bed is very good and everything is practical and beautifully furnished. The location is great and a free large parking lot is not far away. Nel is very courteous, quick to reach and also responds very quickly. Katwijk is also very beautiful, especially the beach with all the beach clubs. Check-in was very easy with a lockbox. Thank you for the great stay. Absolutely recommended.

Lovely place, beautiful little cottage, lovely beds, privacy. We were allowed to borrow the bikes. Very friendly host. All in all super!

A Tiny House equipped with everything you need, the personal welcome message makes you feel really welcome. Our goal was to relax together and we really succeeded. The tips with what to do were very good and partly because of that we had nice days. Even with some turbulent weather, there was plenty to do in the area. From the accommodation, we also drove to Den Helder, where we visited Fort Kijkduin. Where we unexpectedly got a private tour. Slept wonderfully in a romantic bed, surprisingly large. My 1.90 m tall husband regularly hangs with his feet over the edge of a bed, but this is certainly not the case. Despite the fact that you are in a residential area with the cottage, in the backyard of the host, you do not really realize this when you are at the cottage. Definitely recommendable to book here!

We had a great time in the cottage in Schoorl! It is exactly big enough for two people and really everything is present. We also liked the outdoor area very much, in the evening there is exactly sun under the canopy so we could eat there nicely.

The accommodation was fantastic and beautifully furnished. Everything you need was within walking distance. The place was very clean and we immediately felt comfortable. Highly recommended:)

Wonderful place to relax for a few days. The cottage is complete and the hot tub and Finnish Kota complete the package. Wonderfully quiet location and a very good bed . The breakfast we ordered up to twice was delicious and varied. Alette was quick to respond to our questions or wishes, which was nice. Unfortunately, the critters who roam around the yard (2 dogs and a cat) would have been nice. In short, a wonderful place to get away for a few days! Recommended, absolutely

We greatly enjoyed this stay. It is a beautiful cottage with fantastic views. Breakfast is perfect. Furthermore, we have also experienced the contact with Jitske as very pleasant. Tips: enjoy the bubbles in the jacuzzi, rent bikes to explore the area and take a walk through the Barefoot Path! We will definitely come back 😇

The firmly anchored houseboat offers a great, relaxing view of the water, the sky and the marina opposite - through the large windows and the good furnishings, even directly from the bed. Everything is comfortably furnished and equipped and very clean, the check-in and the stored information are well thought out and organized. We had a relaxing time for two! (You should only be aware that the boat has a little "swell" in the wind, so it rolls a little in the water with the waves.)

Beautiful and nice accommodation if you are looking for peace and nature. Friendly host who is quick to respond and happy to help. I really enjoyed the accommodation and would definitely recommend it. Anything you need is present. The bed is nice, the shower works well and the space is large enough for at least 2 people with a nice outdoor space.

We had a nice stay at Marlou's cottage. In the area you can walk and cycle endlessly and a number of Hanseatic cities are around the corner. The cottage is cozily furnished for 2 people with a great bed and a well-equipped kitchen. Things like coffee/tea and cleaning items were provided. Highly recommended for next time.
