From Torii-mae Station, a 10-minute walk away, it takes 15 minutes by cable car to Ikoma Mountain Amusement Park. The night view of Osaka from the summit is so spectacular that it was recognized by the "COOL JAPAN AWARD 2019." You can also enjoy the old-fashioned atmosphere along the way from the inn to Hozan-ji Temple with a view of restaurants and other places. The early morning walk is very refreshing. Ikoma Station, a 10-minute walk away, is a convenient station with four lines. There are slopes and stairs from Ikoma Station, so we recommend taking a taxi from the station if you have large luggage (around 700 yen). Supermarkets, department stores, and restaurants are all within a 10-minute walk. A newly renovated machiya town house with typical layout and a small garden, retaining the tradition of Naramachi - the old merchant town of Nara. Easy access via bus and train, supermarket, restaurants, convenience store, bakery, and a Japanese bath house just minutes away. This house belonged to a famous wood carver of "ittobori" - a traditional Nara technique of carving the wood. A projector and a record player will make your stay even more pleasant. Enjoy!
