From Torii-mae Station, a 10-minute walk away, it takes 15 minutes by cable car to Ikoma Mountain Amusement Park. The night view of Osaka from the summit is so spectacular that it was recognized by the "COOL JAPAN AWARD 2019." You can also enjoy the old-fashioned atmosphere along the way from the inn to Hozan-ji Temple with a view of restaurants and other places. The early morning walk is very refreshing. Ikoma Station, a 10-minute walk away, is a convenient station with four lines. There are slopes and stairs from Ikoma Station, so we recommend taking a taxi from the station if you have large luggage (around 700 yen). Supermarkets, department stores, and restaurants are all within a 10-minute walk. This unique accommodation has its own style. Newly built and opened in October 2023. The host lives in the management room on the first floor, but you can use the space almost as if you were renting the entire building. The entire second floor is private. In addition to the spacious living/dining/kitchen area centered around the Graph Tek island kitchen, the villa's most distinctive space, the Sky Terrace, features outdoor sofas, a sauna (available from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM), a Jacuzzi, and a projector with a screen up to 100 inches for enjoying movies and more. In addition, there is a full-fledged BBQ grill made by the Canadian company Broil King (now Weber due to circumstances), so you can enjoy a barbecue at any time, and you can also enjoy it with a glamping feel. (It is better to prepare thick-cut steak for the BBQ grill rather than meat for yakiniku.) For sightseeing, it is very convenient, as it is located near the nearest JR Kizu Station, which is about 36 minutes by express train to Kyoto Station, about 60 minutes by express train to Osaka Station, and about 6 minutes by express train to Nara Station.

Makomo House is located in a mountain village at an altitude of 500 m on the Oku-Mikawa Plateau in Nara The 100-year-old house is a private rental. Makomo-no-ta, which is said to be "the grass where God dwells", spreads around the inn, and you can relax in your room and feel the "Makomo breeze". You can enjoy the "Medicinal Herb Makomo Bath" at the Irori back table and the Goemon bath, where the well water is heated with firewood. There is no TV or wifi, so why not turn off your digital devices and turn on your own sensibilities? Enjoy the soothing sounds of nature, such as the rustling of makomo leaves, the babbling of the river, the chirping of birds, the chorus of frogs, and the sound of deer.

A newly renovated machiya town house with typical layout and a small garden, retaining the tradition of Naramachi - the old merchant town of Nara. Easy access via bus and train, supermarket, restaurants, convenience store, bakery, and a Japanese bath house just minutes away. This house belonged to a famous wood carver of "ittobori" - a traditional Nara technique of carving the wood. A projector and a record player will make your stay even more pleasant. Enjoy!
