Beautiful Hideaway in the hills of trás os montes

This place is our sacred go-to spot when we want to get out of the city and immerse ourselves in nature. This place has special significance for our family because it was here that as a child, we would spend whole days watching over the cows, reading and dreaming as the sun moved across the sky towards dusk. We have recently completed renovations, adding solar & central heating and we would love to share it with people who are looking for a unique experience in an unexplored region of Portugal.

El Gato Negro country house

The Casa Rural El Gato Negro is located in a unique place in the heart of the natural park of Sanabria. It has one room with a double bed of 1.35 cm and another with two single beds of 90cm. It has a bathroom with shower with screen, toilet and sink. The kitchen and living room occupy the same space with direct access to the porch and garden. The house is equipped with all kinds of utensils, sheets, towels and some toiletries. In addition, it has a fireplace and barbecue.

Thanks to the central location of this accommodation, you and yours will have everything on hand. Ideal for families, groups of friends. It is next to a playground and close to tapas bars...Next door there is a super and pharmacy.The river is also very close for fishing... Lake Sanabria is 6 km away where you can bathe ,rent canoes, hike ,climb the mountains,etc. Puebla de Sanabria where there is a spectacular castle is 3km away,downtown where you can see wild wolves..etc

Além de todas as condições em casa para fazer refeições e confraternizar em família e amigos tem uma piscina no terreno que podem se refrescar nos dias quentes e ficar a sombra de Oliveiras muito antigas.Fazer caminhadas pela montanha até ao rio é sempre uma actividade muito saudável, o rio Rabaçal é muito bonito e existem vários percursos até ele, fica a pé cerca de 15 a 30 minutos. A gastronomia da zona também é característica é muito boa 👍
