Elsie was a phenomenal host, she was readily available to answer all my questions and was very informative and helpful. She was also very knowledgeable about the area and was very accommodating with my requests. She frequently checked up on us as well. The place is beautiful and has the most stunning views. The home is very warm and welcoming. The view of the ocean and the sound of the waves made it so tranquil and serene. It truly is a gem of a place. We made so many beautiful memories that we will treasure for a lifetime.

We had a lovely time - way to short, but enjoyed every minute. Peaceful surrounds and great walking trails. Jan is very responsive to messages and provided useful information as well as clear instructions.

We arrived around 5pm and found the key in the lockbox. Sandy was very responsive to our needs. There was a problem with one of the air conditioners and she sent a technician out to remedy the problem. The solar panels, inverter and battery were a real bonus as there were a couple of unexpected power outages and we were not affected by them. The house is spacious with beautiful sea views from most of the bedrooms and living areas. It is well decorated and makes for good and comfortable living with more than enough kitchen utensils to cater for our full house of eight people and three dogs. Sipho worked during the week keeping the garden and pool area clean, including cleaning the braai. We used him inside a couple of times to clean at an additional cost paid directly to him. He even washed our cars without being asked to do so. When the deck overlooking the ocean became a bit windy, we used the well protected pool and covered braai area. The pool table and dart board added to the fun

Really lovely place, excellently appointed kitchen, nice quiet spot in Prince's Grant surrounded by trees. Easy to feel right at home here.

Place looked good and exactly like the images.. It is a walking distance to the beach, You also get a beautiful view of it. The host is friendly and responsive. We had a good time staying there.

The bedrooms were spotless, and we slept incredibly well. It’s close to really nice restaurants. The sea view is stunning, and the space is airy and comfortable. Having sis Phume as a host upon my 2nd return for the same purpose stood out for me it felt home. She’s more like family now such a great host her persona is out of this world. Still going to come for more birthday weekend vacations in the next coming years I’ve found a perfect and inclusive place which cater my physical needs and soothes my soul.

We had an amazing stay at this gem on the Dolphin Coast! The apartment is beautiful and perfectly located—just steps from the beach and tidal pool. The sea views are breathtaking, and we loved spending time on the verandah overlooking Chakas Rock. It’s ideal for a couple or small family, with everything you need for a relaxing, self-catering holiday. The complex is safe and quiet, with restaurants just around the corner. Highly recommended for a coastal getaway!

My family and I enjoyed our stay at La Mer No4. The unit is clean,spacious and so stunning with all the modern finishes and homely touches. Thandi was so warm and welcoming and kept the place so neat and tidy. I highly recommend for families and couples who are looking to enjoy the beauty of Ballito and surroundings in a home away from home. We had a wonderful stay at this property! The host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our visit, which made the experience smooth and stress-free. The apartment was spotless and very well maintained — we really appreciated the attention to cleanliness. The estate itself is peaceful and serene, offering a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. We would definitely recommend this place to others and hope to return ourselves in the future!

What an amazing two days my family and I had. The accommodation was spacious and lovely . Gary is such an excellent host and thought of everything . He’s also a really nice guy !! We really enjoyed our stay! The place is very nice, looks exactly like the pictures, and had all the amenities we needed. Olivia is a great host. When we arrived, getting inside was easy. My cell number had been registered at the gate, so to enter, we simply called the gate number from the registered phone, and the gate opened automatically — a new and interesting experience! Once inside, we used the remote and keys from the key box, and from then on, we used them to open and close the gate as needed. The private access to the beach was also a wonderful bonus and made our stay even more special.

Perfect place to get away and Justine was awesome! So proactive, helpful and organized! Brilliant, will definitely become a regular.

We have just completed a 3 week stay with 4 adults sharing Loren's place. In our opinion it is the perfect place to stay if visiting Ballito. The apartment itself is large, very clean and extremely well equipped. The complex is very well maintained, in particular the pool and garden areas. It is also situated in an ideal spot with direct access to the boardwalk and beach, and is a within a short walking distance of shops and restaurants. Parking is secure and undercover. We can't add much more to all the other positive reviews which are spot on. For any golfers, we would highly recommend Umhlali Country Club golf course which is a 10 minute drive away.  Thanks especially to our hosts Loren, Deon and Viv who are on hand and very quick to respond should you need anything.

I had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful apartment while in KZN for the Comrades Marathon. The space was immaculate, stylish, and had everything I could possibly need. What truly made this experience stand out was Janine, the host. From the moment I booked, her communication was exceptional—warm, funny, and refreshingly down-to-earth. She checked in every day with genuine care and good humour, making sure I had everything I needed and even sharing great local tips. Her friendly, light-hearted personality made me feel so welcome — it was like connecting with an old friend! The apartment itself had so many thoughtful touches: a well-stocked kitchen with a variety of spices, cooking oil, plenty of washing liquid, and all those little extras that are so often overlooked. I didn’t have to worry about a thing—it truly felt like a home away from home. I will absolutely be staying here again!
