Beachfront holiday rental in Ilha do João Araújo

I felt in the little treehouse! I loved the hammock on the wooden deck with the surrounding trees, the sound of the sea, the sound of birds and the quiet name of the green . Actually access is not for sedentary or fearful of the dark (to arrive after sunset). Who goes to the bathroom at night still sleepy may have problems with the staircase and the low ceiling. This was the only information that was not included in the advertisement. But for me particularly I had no problem with that. My husband, in his view, were the disadvantages. In the most I felt at home, I loved the contact with nature and undoubtedly the net on the deck... my favorite place to read, listen to the birds, enjoy the full moon... Mega recommend the place, and come back without a doubt.

Very well located house, a few meters from the beach, and next to the right side where there are more waves, some options of restaurants walking-in-area and close to the river. The house is large and comfortable, with parking for the cars.

This house is such a special location, we loved staying in this architectural gem! The glass fronts offer stunning views over the sea, you are surrounded by the jungle-like nature and animals. The beaches nearby are absolutely stunning, just note that the food options in walkable distance are closed at night. We had a really wonderful, relaxed and quite time in Felix, exploring the neighborhood, surfing, hanging by the beach and of course enjoying our livingroom views! Also communication with the hosts was super smooth and quick and check-in was very easy, would 100% recommend staying here!

Simply one of the best accommodations I have ever stayed, from the check-in to the check-out Wagner and Luciana were super solicited and welcoming, they gave us tips of the places, left the super pleasant environment for our arrival, including a ticket and chocolates… The attention and care was essential, they think of everything from towels, water, hygiene items to sheets, service that is currently getting more and more scarce and they have made us feel at home!!

The home is beautiful with amazing views and a short trail away from a beautiful beach. The room was clean and was well represented in the photos. The house keeper was very friendly and for a small fee purchased groceries and prepared breakfast for us. Her husband also took us on boat trips to local restaurants and a small store on local islands. The road to the house is hard to locate and even harder to drive. There are deep ruts, rocks, and there are very steep sections. I’d strongly suggest a four wheel drive vehicle. If it rains you may have a hard time making it to and from the house. We would also suggest that you bring groceries with you, as there are no restaurants or stores nearby without taking the difficult road back to Paraty, or hiring a boat. Overall we really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful location.

Fernando's house is wonderful and very tasteful. It has all the necessary amenities and is very well equipped, even with a shelf full of great books. The gardens are very well maintained and pleasant. The house is very close to the beach, surrounded by lush nature. In the period we went, in early June, Itamambuca is a very quiet beach, ideal for a relaxing stay. Fernando was very attentive and gave us good tips.

Our stay in Paraty was excellent, the accommodation offered by Matheus is perfectly located, close to the historic center and the beach. The house is clean and functional. Looking forward to staying again.

beautiful place in the best spot of the city

It is impossible to describe with words what my bride and I live in the days we stayed, the place is surreal of beautiful, you sleep with the sound of the sea, lots of nature around, the little stone house is beautiful and very cozy, had everything we need. Fábio is an amazing person, an example of a person, too good people, always worrying about the smallest details to have a great stay, I just have to thank Fabio, for the period we were in the little stone house and for everything he did for us, I certainly recommend and we will return a lot more times.

From the beginning Jerri answered us very quickly and super receptive with our dogs. For those who likes to travel with a dog knows how that counts! The apartment was great, the beach and every structure that has, excellent, all very receptive with our dogs, all the places in the hotel we could enjoy were great! It was all amazing! We felt at home and we wanted to come back!

A beautiful place! Amazing view! The calm sea allows you to swim with a snorkel and watch turtles, some corals, and lots of little fish. My 10 year old son enjoyed it a lot! The house is super cozy, with air conditioning in all rooms, comfortable beds, full kitchen… as described in the listing. Rafael answers immediately any questions and Mr. Antônio and his wife provide all assistance in the house. It is an excellent choice for those who want to stay isolated, but with easy access to the beach (sand) or the sea (pier). The stairs (access from the house to the leisure area) can be difficult for older people or very young children.

I simply loved everything, I was looking for rest and contact with nature and I found so much more. Super indicated even for those who do not have a car like me, as I visited other places outside Jabaquara very easily. For sure as soon as I can, I'll be back. I can't help but talk about João, a hyper polite young man. Very apene!!!!!! Note 1000!

The house is a delight! In front of the beach (crossing the lane). Walking to the right on this beach, you can access the main beach of Vila. I went in a cold and rainy week so there wasn't much to do in Trindade, but I'm glad I was staying in this house that welcomes you in the small details. The garden is the highlight, it has a great pool and a waterfall, a kiosk with a barbecue, nature everywhere. The bed is great, the kitchen is equipped, everything is clean and tidy. Poly and her husband Kleber were super attentive and friendly from start to finish. It doesn't even compare to any inn in the area. I highly recommend it!

The House has a standard beach finish but everything works as advertised (hot water, air conditioning, fans, etc.). The pool is good for adults and children as it has a deep and shallow part with stone stairs. The Condominium is very quiet and good for walking with children and pets. We rented a golf cart (available inside the condominium) which made it easy to take everyone to the beach and the waterfall trail, along with the other accessories, in addition to using it to stroll around the condominium and green areas. The beach is shallow and without waves, good for swimming and water sports that do not depend on wind, such as stand up and kayaking.

Best airbnb I've ever been, no exaggeration!! House with wonderful, super comfortable view, new beds, clean and smelling sheets, as well as towels. All we needed to cook or serve had in the house, tbm cleaners, I didn't miss anything. Always solicitous host, responds quickly and with great kindness. I intend to come back many times!

The house is extremely pleasant, clean and well decorated. The infrastructure is very good - internet works well, comfortable beds, hot shower and well equipped kitchen for home dining. Mauricio received us in a very welcoming and helpful way. The beauty of Mamanguá is a separate chapter. We had a delicious weekend and we want to come back soon!

We loved our stay in this paradise on earth. The house is perfect for those who want to sleep and wake up to the sound of the sea. Indescribable feeling of peace and comfort, because the bed, bedding, pillows, towels, everything was very clean and of high quality. The details that make the difference in a stay. We had an unforgettable stay at this beautiful place. The location is excellent—right on the beach with direct access to the water, and surrounded by a quiet, green area. It felt very private and was perfect for a relaxing getaway. The loft was spotless, modern, and very comfortable. It had everything we needed, including a well-equipped kitchen, an outdoor shower, and a cozy patio where we spent a lot of time just hanging out and enjoying the view. It’s an ideal spot for a couple looking to relax and recharge. Thiago and Paula were fantastic hosts. Communication was excellent—they were always quick to respond, helpful, and made us feel really welcome. You can tell they’ve put a lot of thought into making sure guests have a great stay. This trip was very special for us, and staying here definitely made it even better. We’d love to come back and would recommend it to any couple looking for a quiet and comfortable place by the beach.

It was me ,husband and son😊 We arrived before the time and the Maicon(Renata's husband) received us very sympathetic. To arrive at home,he took us by boat(in less than 1 minute rs) but also possible on the trail walking for (8 minutes approx)The beauty of the place swear,not described by the photos!The house was built literally on top of the rocks.Dorm and wake up listening to the sound of the sea so close to the therapeutic one.A balcony and huge deck with lots of sun and stairs for simply a dip in the natural aquarium with several species of fish , Yesmmmm the backyard is the sea🤩We had the luck of clear nights and the moon was a spectacular part of 🙏🏼Everything very clean,in the house has everything you need to have days of peace and comfort.Ahhh without mentioning the accessibility for walks on the famous islands of the region(Island of cabbages and pigs)Including I would like to make the tour of the Island of the pigs with the Maicon ,and to close Picinguaba is 36 km from Paraty,we enjoy the night of là reco, we😊 will soon return🙏

Fisherman's casita is paradise on earth. It was truly a privilege to be able to spend a week there . Open the windows and be able to see incredible sunrises, between fishing boats,the flight of the herons and having breakfast on the patio sharing fruit with some monitos. The house is simple, comfortable and has everything for well-being. Super comfortable mattresses. The kitchen has everything you need,many appliances. The music of the neighboring kiosks is heard quite loud,but it is nice . Very calm at all other times. Summing up just great

Tami’s place is very well located. We enjoyed how Tami’s home was organized and the view on the church. The living room was very comfortable with a beautiful light in the morning. Tami was very helpful and flexible, allowing us to check in early. Great experience in the Centro Histórico!
