Aya and her family live in stunning house on a gorgeous organic farm. She told us tons of interesting details about both of them, which we enjoyed a lot! This is a homestay, so we lived according to the rhythm and house rules of the family, as you might expect. Especially recommended if you'd like to learn from people who do everything themselves!

Excellent accueil de Mario, beau père de Rolando, qui vit sur place avec sa famille. Il est chamane et nous avons beaucoup échangé sur les coutumes indigènes. Nous avons partagés avec eux les repas préparés par la mère de Rolando : typiques et excellents ! Dommage que nous ne soyons restés qu'une nuit : il y tant de choses encore à découvrir !

My dad and I wanted a place outside of the center yet still close enough to get the buses. Wilson’s mom Dina allowed me to use her kitchen to cook my own food. My dad and I had a very peaceful sleep and enjoying eating dinner and breakfast with both of Wilson’s parents. We would definitely recommend staying here for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

Maria et sa famille sont très accueillants et avons passé un excellent séjour. La maison est bien située, à proximité de la cascade et du bus pour Otavalo. Dans le village il y a un bourg sympa avec des restaurants le soir, une bonne pizzeria et un bon glacier et le magasin de ponchos Milmarte qui vaut le coup d'oeil. Si on revient, ce sera à coup sûr chez Maria. Maria y su familia son muy acogedores y tuvimos una estancia excelente. La casa está bien ubicada, cerca de la cascada y del autobús para ir a Otavalo. En el pueblo hay algunos restaurantes por la noche, una buena pizzería y heladería, y merece la pena visitar la tienda de ponchos Milmarte. Si volvemos, sin duda será en la casa de María.

The cabin was the place to be if you want to be in contact with nature and beautiful scenanry. We felt right at home and the peaceful environment was what we were craving for.

Tolle Unterkunft in wunderschöner, angenehmer und ruhige Lage, bestens geeignet um sich nach einer langen Reise gut zu erholen. Ich habe mich sehr wohl und von Anfang an wie zu Hause gefühlt. Sehr gastfreundliche und herzliche Familie. Ich komme sehr gerne wieder.

Excelente lugar para cambiar la ciudad por el campo, un lugar sumamente tranquilo y seguro. Es perfecto para relajarse y pasar unos días tranquilo. Se puede hacer parrilladas y fogatas al anochecer, está completamente equipada la casa. Al ser clima caliente no deben olvidar el repelente y bloqueador

Una experiencia increíble! El lugar es super grande y bonito. Con áreas verdes, animales y una pequeña laguna. Los perritos son muy amigables. Es un lugar perfecto para descansar y pasarla bien en familia.

Lugar bonito y tranquilo para pasar la estadía en cotacachi

Esta familia es la mas linda que uno puede imaginar! La Senora Alba es tan acogedora, tan linda, tan dispuesta a ayudar con cualquier cosa. Toda la familia nos hicieron sentir realmente como una parte de la familia. La finca es super linda, con vistas, con animales, con senderos y hay una cascada linda si uno se atreve hacer una caminata de aventura. La comida era muy buena y completamente fresca y sana. La Senora siempre nos preguntaba que nos gusta y realmente la cominicacion acerca de cualquier asunto era muy claro y agradable. Esta finca le permite para conectarse con el entorno de la naturaleza y vivir la experiencia de vida diaria en un a finca en la montana. Lo recomiendo muchisimo!

Pasamos en la cabaña 2 noches con mis papis y bebe. El lugar es hermoso, la finca llena de arboles, vegetacion, mucho espacio para caminar, todo silencioso con mucha paz, lo que buscamos para un descanso de fin de semana. El lugar esta muy cerca de un pueblo magico Cotacachi y gracias a recomendaciones a Randy descubrimos muy buenos lugares para comer. Randy, Silvia y toda su familia fueron muy atentos a cuelquier necesidad, nos ayudaron con la cuna para bebe, nos regalaron fruta y aguacates de su finca y Silvia estuvo muy atenta a la alimentacion de mi bebe, dandole fruta picada. Nos sentimos muy a gusto y sentimos mucho cariño de la familia de Randy. El lugar es perfecto para pasar un rato con la pareja o familia con niños, que disfrutan mucho a los animales de la Hacienda. I had an amazing stay at Katty and Lionel’s rural property! The cozy cabana was perfect, with breathtaking views and all the comforts of home. The fresh fruit, yogurt, garden veggies and eggs provided were a great touch. Katty and Lionel’s warm and friendly demeanor made the experience even better—they were always helpful and welcoming. The location is peaceful yet fairly convenient, with easy access to a nearby bus that connects to Otavalo, Cotacachi, and Ibarra. Whether you’re looking to explore or relax, this property is ideal. I would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing experience staying at Patricia and Rumi's home. They welcomed us into their family, cooking breakfast, lunch, and dinner for us. During the meal Patricia would sit and talk with us. She was very patient with our limited Spanish. My daughter was interested in their farm and Patricia showed us the different crops they were growing, and we walked with her to being the cows to another pasture and saw the chickens with their eggs and the rabbits and guinea pigs. Patricia also helped organize a horse riding trip for my kids and I when we expressed interest. My husband was able to work remotely from their place and there were several coffee shops close by that he worked from as well. Feel so fortunate to have the experience of staying with an Ecuadorian family.

We don’t know where to start—our stay here was amazing. We have traveled extensively in Ecuador, and traveled around the world, but this is one of the most beautiful places we have been. Manuela and Angela just made it all the better—the home is thoughtfully and beautifully designed and decorated. It had all the supplies we needed to prepare food and stay comfortably. Angela left books and art supplies for my son to use, and the play house was very fun. She cooked incredible meals for us and even came and picked us up when we got caught out in the rain one day! It was a joy to walk down to the organic garden and pick beautiful produce. Truly such a special, tranquil home and property and we can’t wait to return.

Miryan’s cabanas are the perfect Ecuadorian home away from home! We love coming back because of her outstanding hospitality and great location. We feel very safe and well cared for on her property. Everything you need, and an incredible view of the volcano! Her lovely garden is great for fresh fruits and beautiful flowers. Walking distance to downtown and the famous market!
