From the moment I arrived, I knew this place was something special. Tucked away in a quiet, peaceful setting, it offered the perfect escape from the usual hustle and bustle. The atmosphere was incredibly serene — birdsong in the morning, gentle breezes through the trees, and an overall sense of calm that made it hard to leave. The space itself was immaculate. Every corner was spotless, and you could tell a lot of care and attention had gone into maintaining the home. The cleanliness alone made it feel like a true sanctuary. What really made the experience stand out was Ariana, the host. He was absolutely perfect, so warm, attentive, and thoughtful in every interaction. From quick responses to helpful local recommendations, he struck the perfect balance of being available without ever feeling intrusive. It's clear he genuinely cares about her guests' experience. If you're looking for a peaceful, clean, and beautifully hosted stay, this is the place.

Our week at Sisoq on Gili Asahan was the absolute highlight of our eight-week trip to Indonesia. I almost cried when we had to leave. The island is stunning, with a true Robinson Crusoe feel—no cars or motorbikes, everything within walking distance, and a few lovely restaurants and resorts nearby. The house is right on the beach, beautifully furnished with books and board games, spotless, and full of charm. Watching the stars from the upstairs balcony was magical. Daily cleaning is provided, and Jana was always available and incredibly helpful—especially when our daughter needed antibiotics and for organizing our return to Bali. As guests, you can use the nearby Eco Lodge Resort’s amenities (SUPs, kayaks) free of charge. We also loved the mountain yoga classes at Yoga Shala and relaxing massages at the spa. We felt completely cared for and would return in a heartbeat. A truly exceptional stay that we recommend wholeheartedly.

Wir hatten einen super schönen Aufenthalt. Es ist eine besondere Unterkunft in den Reisfeldern und man ist direkt in der Natur. Das Personal ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit gewesen und hat immer schnell auf unsere Nachrichten/Wünsche reagiert.

我们同行三人都非常喜欢这套别墅，花园风景很好，床铺柔软且每天有专人负责整理，两个房间内空调性能都很好，夜晚很舒适。 房东为我们准备了驱蚊水，即使有蚊虫也可以缓解。 周边有一些餐厅和按摩店，比较便利。 时不时可能会有小猫到访，我们都很爱见到她🥰只不过有时她可能会有点暴躁🥲大家要小心观察她的情绪，以免打扰到她。 房东很有耐心也很热心，为我们提供了非常好的住房体验。

I spent two nights here, very peaceful location in the middle of a rice field. The place was pretty clean with a good ac and wifi. They have a restaurant few minutes away where you can order in your room.

Die Unterkunft liegt zwar etwas abgeschieden, aber wir waren sehr begeistert von dem Ausblick. Man konnte direkt auf die Reisfelder schauen und hatte einen sehr ruhigen Ort. Da man abseits von Restaurants und Warung war, bestellten wir etwas zu essen, was aber auch super geklappt hat. Man beachte auch, dass man dort nicht so spontan abgeholt werden kann aufgrund der Lage. Wir würden wieder kommen und empfehlen diese Unterkunft.

Extraordinary experience at Villa Emerald in northern Bali away from mass tourism in a place that immediately feels like home. The magnificent lawn, the pool, the big bed on the sea touched by a breeze that makes you forget the heat. The total relaxation. And all this made even better by Suci, who takes care of the house and cooks like a chef. Very good and everything we ate always delicious! And Komang, our point of reference for any need. He organized tours and experiences flawlessly. And how could we forget Dewa, our driver. Deep knowledge of the country and customs and really great person. Always cheerful and helpful and great at the wheel!! And thanks also to the gardener Feri who takes care of the outside of the house to perfection. And a mention also to the guard Romi who took care of our security every night. And we also highly recommend the massage parlor available to guests of the villa. Unforgettable experience. As so many have said before, this is a magical, enchanted place that offers an unforgettable experience to nature lovers and/or people who are sensitive to the special energy of Bali. The premises are vast and unique with an unusual temple complex right in the middle. The views from the cabin and the common area (bale structure for eating) are breathtaking. Each evening, just before sundown, we heard the village priest's chanting and gamelan orchestra, including a flute that sounded like it came from another world, travelling over from across the valley. If you're into this kind of thing, go next door, down to the river, for a special guided water purification ritual (melukat). Yes, communication was sometimes a bit tricky, but the staff are all so friendly and helpful, things always worked out. The place was squeaky clean, considering it's in the middle of the jungle. Food was thoughtfully cooked and pesented. We loved our time in Sangeh, suksma to everyone!

We booked the El Dorado Villa as part of our first stop for a 2 week trip in Bali. We stayed here for 4 nights. Ester was our contact and was incredibly responsive. She even allowed us to check in early and drop our bags off. The property is located down a small road which can fit a car down. It’s next door to the ‘Astaga Flats’. Nearby are great breakfast choices we went to ‘Rise and Shine’ every morning. You also have ‘Copenhagen cafe’ on the corner. The property itself is just amazing. It was incredibly clean and so spacious. It was just the two of us and we really enjoyed the odd afternoon by the pool. There is a kitchen area but we didn’t use it but had all the amenities if you were staying there long term and looking to not eat out although the places on the doorstep for food are so cheap. Easy pick up and drop offs for grab taxis and mopeds. Would highly recommend staying here. Great value and great amenities. Special mention to Ester who was always responsive and helpful!

This is absolute luxury as the name suggests and I highly recommend if you are searching for the best luxury villa in bali. The staff make it very special, organising activities and cooking and cleaning for us was a treat! The villa itself and view is even better than the photos, it takes your breath away. It is kid friendly with a small shallow pool and some toys and High chair, and they even installed a pool safety gate which helped us all relax. Very comfortable for 6 adults and 3 children, stayed for 6 nights and it was the best. Thank you!

Ontzettend fijn verblijf gehad! De privé villa is absoluut schitterend!! Bij aankomst wandel je over het resort en ook dit is super mooi en netjes. Een groene oase en rust is wat je hier vindt. De villa is heel mooi en je hebt veel privacy.

Paradise, simply paradise. We’ve been to lots of places all around the world and it’s very difficult to find this mix of untouched nature, while feeling secure and comfortable. The place: Perfect. The main bedroom with floor to ceiling windows is magical. Waking up with the sunrise, while enjoying the glory of the moon at night. The pool itself is the right size, nothing crazy but more than enough for 2 people. The staff: Beautiful people! You feel like you’re being treated with kindness and respect that’s not something usual for complete strangers. Every comment we had was taken seriously and a resolution was provided. The best part is the fact that privacy levels are completely customisable. You can choose to either have the staff prepare each meal and be at house or prepare everything by yourself and enjoy complete privacy. This place will stay forever in our hearts! Can’t wait to be back!

This villa was pure paradise! Beautifully designed, peaceful, and spotless, with a stunning garden and private pool. We loved the open-air living space and the tropical outdoor showers. The location was quiet yet close to beaches, restaurants, and yoga spots. The host was incredibly helpful and kind, making everything easy from check-in to arranging transport. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay — already dreaming of coming back!

Absolutely amazing, we stayed here with 7 people, loads of room to relax, the view of the ocean is fantastic, the property is spectacular with the gardens and the open plan living. The individual villas with the outdoor bathrooms are clean, the aircon is cold, and the beds are comfortable. Plenty of food options easily walkable and the villa staff were amazing and helped us with ordering food and suggesting restaurants nearby which were also fantastic. You won't regret staying here.

The Cove is amazing!! Beautiful views and pool, delicious food, many amenities, and a friendly, efficient staff! We had a great time! I highly recommend it!

An unforgettable experience! I stayed two nights at Magic Hills Bali, and each night in a different villa to experience both — and wow, both were absolutely magical in their own unique way! Everything was beautifully designed and felt like a dream come true. The peaceful atmosphere, the attention to detail, and the nature all around make this place something special. The owner is such a kind and genuine person — very welcoming and made sure everything went smoothly. And the staff? Just amazing. Super friendly, helpful, and always smiling. They made the whole stay even more enjoyable. I’m so happy I got to experience both villas — I’d 100% recommend this place to anyone coming to Bali. Thank you for the amazing memories!

Desa Laguna really is a paradise desert island. It’s easily comparable to the Maldives in beauty and tranquility, just without the price tag. The photos don’t really do this place justice. The skilful craftsmanship of the huts is really impressive. Although rustic (there’s no aircon or hot water on the island) they’ve struck the balance of embracing the natural beauty of the island whilst providing comfortable accommodation. Canoeing and paddle boarding are included and they take you out to a local coral reef for snorkelling for free. The food is delicious. There was no need for shoes (aside from water shoes for swimming/snorkelling) and no room keys. Really can’t fault this place. It’s the perfect place to escape the busyness and pollution of Jakarta and completely unwind. There were just 5 guests (including us) on the island while we were there - so peaceful! I can’t wait to return.

Great little secluded spot for a quiet few days in the jungle setting. Would recommend a short stay for sure. Beautiful little tree house with a relaxed vibe and the hosts made the most amazing breakfasts and couldn’t do any more to help.

We absolutely loved this place! the hosts were so helpful and responsive. Gojek/grab had a little bit of a hard time finding the place because I believe it is a newer road so hopefully that improves for them but none the less the place was great! They were so kind, greeting us with coconuts and even got a toy for my son (even after he accidentally broke an ornament 😩). Thank you thank you! Definitely recommend

Our family didn’t understand that there were two beautiful houses. Once our youngest refused to sleep Seperate from us the staff came to the house and set up an extra bed in the master bedroom. Thank you so much for helping is solve this. The house was the most beautiful we stayed in in Bali so far. Peaceful, we even stayed in for a full day to enjoy the pool and location.
