If you are lucky you can also experience cruise ships, royal ships and large sailing ships, passing by. Sandhornøy has a rich wildlife and just outside the lake house you can experience both moose, deer, hare, otter, eagle and grouse. In summer, Finnvikhaugen is the perfect place to experience the midnight sun and in winter you can experience the Northern Lights. There are great hiking trails and the possibility for mountain hikes.

Eddastua is a lovely Nordland house from 1880

Eddastua has history and charm. Edda Konstanse lived in the house with her sisters, they made a living as seamstresses. A few years after Edda's death, Prostinne Valborg and her husband Prost Steffensen took over. When he died, Valborg moved to her children and the house stood empty for almost 50 years, before Christensen took over in 2001. They have taken care of all the things that were there and turned the house into a gem with charm and tranquility. Open plan living room/kitchen with stove, refrigerator, dining table, sofa set, wireless internet, and TV. Terrace with seating area and great views. Short distance to great hiking opportunities in the area.

Guest apartment in a great detached house in quiet surroundings in the countryside, about three quarters by car from Bodø. Surrounded by forests, mountains and the sea. Close to sights such as Saltstraumen, Svartisen and Langsand on Sandhornøy. Good conditions for fishing in all ways, sea and water. Bedroom with large double bed. Sofa also possible for a 3rd person. Also a removable guest bed. There is also an available bedroom in the rest of the building, but the use of this must be agreed upon.

Vacuum toilet and possibility for simple shower if you heat water and fill your own shower bucket. Refrigerator on electricity and gas stove. Fenced plot with 1 meter high fence. Gas grill and outdoor fireplace. There is also a short distance to Saltstraumen where you can see the world's strongest maelstrom and try your fishing luck

Travel back in time without electricity, and spend the night with water only from the stream and an outdoor toilet.

The barn in Midnattssolveien

This is a newly restored barn completed in the summer of 2023. We have taken care of as much as possible of the old, and combined it with the new. This makes the barn a completely unique place, with a soul. 1st floor consists of hallway, bathroom with toilet and shower, hobby room, two bedrooms. The 2nd floor consists of an open solution, where part is the "main hall" with a fireplace, a well equipped kitchen, and a cosy sofa section. All rooms are well equipped.

Det er tilgang til strand på eiendommen, fiskemuligheter, samt rikelig med turmuligheter og utflukter i nærheten. Vi anbefaler en tur til Elias Blix kafe, evt for de spreke en tur opp til Sandhornet (993 meter). Og kanskje kan vertskapet tilby deg en guidet tur i båt, til en rimelig pris.
