Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Inner West Council

Julie was an incredibly friendly and accommodating host, making us feel welcome right from the start. The place itself was very convenient and perfectly located for our needs. It offered a huge amount of space, which was ideal for our group to relax and enjoy comfortably. From check-in to check-out, everything was seamless and stress-free. Highly recommended for anyone traveling with a group or just looking for a smooth, enjoyable stay in Sydney.

We had a lovely stay. The property is exactly how it’s pictured, so convenient to shops and everything, quiet and there’s a kids park on the same street! Easy to get street parking too. Thanks for having us!

Rod was very quick to respond to my questions and offered great recommendations for things we wanted to do in the area. The house was perfect for our group of five adults. We enjoyed sitting on the kitchen patio (one of three available) for coffee/tea, dinner, and playing cards. Only thing that would have made this accommodation nicer would have been air conditioning. Thank you, Rod, for being such a gracious host!

Very cosy home in a great location with easy access to local pubs and a variety of dining options. The availability of on-site parking was very useful. Access to the city by bus or ferry is very convenient. We enjoyed the stroll down to the ferry and the trip across the harbour. if you have mobility issues steep stairs to the bedrooms will be an issue but the rooms are very nice with views of the city and harbour bridge.

Lovely cottage with studio in the back, conveniently located near the main strip of Newtown and the train. The dining area with day bed was lovely to sit in, even during a rainstorm.

We absolutely loved staying here! The house is so quiet at night for sleeping, but so close to cafes and shops (and the city). We had five adults and the space was comfortable, with comfy beds and great amenities. The house is a gem that has been lovingly restored. The backyard is an oasis and our dog loved it too! Thank you SO much for having us, we look forward to coming back.

Fabulous location for a large family. The neighbourhood is very quiet, but a bus stop is literally just a 2 minute walk. The East Balmain ferry is also an easy 10 minute walk. When walking around the area you feel like a local. It’s not touristy at all which was a nice break after visiting busy beaches and the city. Heath was very accomodating, an excellent communicator and the house was tidy and clean. The trampoline was an absolute hit with our friend’s 6.5 year old daughter! We also highly recommend a visit to the Dawn Fraser baths which is in the same area.

The house is in a good location, close to the fish market and the University of Sydney which is walkable.The house has a great sense of age and really likes it.The host was very responsive and helped us as much as we could.Made us the perfect holiday in Sydney.

Great place, I won’t hesitate to recommend. Chris was very friendly. Even informed us when the place was ready for us so we could check in early. Easy check in, with no fuss keypad entry. Suitable for couples. No room for kids. Bathroom was spacious. Very comfy sofa to put your feet up and watch tv. Lovely spot. Short walk to Spit Rd and buses to the city. Clontarf Reserve is a very pretty spot with a lovely marina/cafe extending over the water. Shops are a short drive away.

Beautiful apartment with panoramic views of shell cove and beyond. The garden in front of the building offers a peaceful and private waters edge perspective of Sydney harbour. We were lucky to be there during vivid and could see fireworks on the harbour while sitting at the dinner table. The apartment is cosy and comfortable with a traditional charm to the architecture. Lovely stay.

Great location, easy walk to the rocks and a beautiful spot to quite up and walk out the door

I loved everything about my stay. Beautiful and comfortable home with lots of character. Felt like I was at home. The area is one of my favourites and didn’t disappoint. I would definitely love to stay again.

Great hosts. Lovely apartment in a wonderful location, directly across from beach and easy access to public transport and conveniences. The apartment has everything you need for a short stay or even a bit longer.

What a great place to stay for 13 days in an idyllic location; comfortable, light and airy with everything you need provided. Just across the road to the park with Edwards Beach on the NE and Balmoral Beach, the Sea Baths, Balmoral Oval and Middle Head on the SE, a bus stop outside travelling to Mosman Junction and Taronga Zoo Wharf ( and ferries to the city) and local restaurants within 300 metres. Ideal accommodation for a family or the more elderly with its proximity to park and safe beach and onsite garage. Julie is also the most friendly, flexible and accommodating host, very prompt in communicating as well as informative. I have no hesitation in recommending Julie’s accommodation after such an enjoyable time.

We had an amazing stay at LivedIn Coogee. It was a beautifully decorated listing where we felt right at home! It had more than space for two and the king size bed and linen was incredibly comfy. Vanessa was extremely responsive, helpful and hospitable throughout the entire stay. We had a later return flight and she was understanding with accommodating a later checkout and allowed us to store our bags there until we had to take off. Highly recommend the area, it is off a main street and easy to drive/uber to nearby beaches (not very walkable as hilly).
