FNQ Blooms Tropical Flower Farm Lodge

The Tropical Flower Lodge sits at the foothills of Mt Bartle Frere, surrounded by lush rainforest and vibrant tropical gardens. Our property is also a working flower farm, home to a wide variety of Heliconias and Gingers. The lodge is completely self‑sustaining. Fresh spring water flows though the property a gravity‑fed system, our on‑site waterfall generates clean hydroelectric power. Guests often tell us it feels like staying in a hidden, eco‑friendly sanctuary where nature does all the work.

After a day exploring our region, perhaps indulge yourself in an indoor spa overlooking the rainforest at night. Located 15 minutes to Paronella Park, 25 minutes to Mission Beach, and 30 minutes to Innisfail. A short day trip to the Waterfalls and Atherton tablelands.

Modern Beach Shack | Escape for Two W/ Pool

Located in a sleepy little beach town that time forgot. Where ancient palms shade your path and prehistoric creatures still roam the land. The slow monday sits on the edge of protected forest (a cassowary corridor) just a stroll from the beach. A modern take on the classic Australian beach shack, the house is designed for the Queensland tropics. There are two pavilions, one for living and the other for sleeping, all with large glass sliding doors that open up to let the environment in.

Birdwing Hut in the Rainforest

This simple hut nestled into the rainforest is a birdwatcher's paradise! The property is entirely off-grid and is situated in a wildlife hotspot, with 100 acres of wet tropics rainforest connected to the World Heritage listed Maalan National Park. An ideal base for nature lovers to explore the Atherton Tableland, the bird list includes over 200 species, including Victoria's Riflebird, Blue-faced Parrot finch. Mammals include Tree kangaroos and Herbert River and Green Ringtail Possums.

Usnea, A Nature, Art and Accommodation Space

Usnea, our Nature, Art and Accommodation Space, is situated on the Evelyn Tablelands, Tropical North Qld. Here a discrete self-contained one bedroom cottage in upland rainforest is surrounded by natural and established gardens, and at 1,160m provides a cool summer and cosy winter retreat. Uniquely the cottage integrates art within and outside. Contemplation, inspiration, privacy and comfort, are all to be experienced, along with exploring our forest and local environmental features.

The Lake House

Wake to sunrise over the lake in this secluded tropical retreat. Beautifully designed modern Balinese-inspired house with marble tiled flooring throughout, carved wooden doors and volcanic rock walls, a unique tropical oasis in a truly unique setting. Lake views from every room of the house, effortless indoor-outdoor flow, lush tropical gardens brimming with wildlife. Close to the beach and the town centre, restaurants, shops etc. We can arrange a third (trundle) bed on request.

Mena Creek Flower House, "The Birdsnest"

Set on 40 Private acres, "The Birdsnest" is our modern air-cond smaller cabin. It is open plan living/bedroom with q/size bed and sofa that converts to double bed for extra guests. Seperate bathroom and undercover large deck with stunning rural views. Private river safe swimming hole. Free wifi, flat screen TV. We do have 2 other cabins on the property to accommodate larger families or groups. 7mins from Paronella Park. Due to Covid 19 we are no longer providing breakfast.

The Old Pottery at Etty Bay

A tranquil, child friendly retreat with absolute Coral Sea frontage & panoramic views. This ground floor apartment is a quality re-development of the 1970's Old Pottery and has plenty of character + chef's kitchen A short walk to the beaches. The Old Pottery occupies the whole of the self-contained lower level of the house. Owner's accommodation upstairs may be available as an add-on extra by special arrangement. The Point

Kick back and relax in our calm and stylish retreat, nestled amongst the rainforest with views to the ocean. Our much loved family cottage has been newly renovated with modern amenities. Please enjoy our homage to the history of beach-style hideaway, reminiscent of the 1950's in tropical Far North Queensland. We are close to many well known National Parks rainforest walks and Etty Bay which is a Qld Surf Life Saving patrolled beach with a stinger enclosure.

Welcome to “The Cabin”! Luxury bush glamping in a tiny-home inspired by a shipping container. Nestled on 75 acres with a passionfruit vineyard it offers Barron Valley views off-grid privacy & phone reception. Outdoor shower open to the sky & fully enclosed outdoor toilet. Cabin uses bore water. Enjoy watching wallabies kookaburras & native birds. Fire pit under starlit skies. 5 km dirt road 15 min from Mareeba & 2 km from Emerald Creek Falls. True bush living.

Hemingway’s on the Hill is a rustic private indulgence. Set high on the hill, bearing witness to the best of rural life. Cows graze paddocks, and flocks of birds fly overhead. Life is everywhere.
