Bungalow holiday rentals in Intracoastal Waterway

For my first time renting an Airbnb it was overall a great experience, and filled with lots of memories because of this place (6 people in total) plenty of room for all of us the kitchen table is big which is really nice and the outdoor deck is what really sold us, enough outside seating as well. The hot tub was great. The neighborhood was very relaxed and quiet.

Great location. Spent most of our time walking back and forth to the beach. Excellent restaurants and hidden gems around the island. The house is just like the photos and description. Very dog friendly area and beach. We can't wait to come back! Thank you for having us!

Our family of 4 loved our stay at the oceanfront bungalow! It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. I loved the modern updates and cute decor :) You can't beat the location and views! Gwynne and her team were super friendly and responsive. 10/10 recommend if you're looking for a place to stay in Oak Island and we will definitely be back one day :)

Delaney’s place will now be out go to place for our yearly trip to Carolina Beach. The place is situated in an adorable beach cottage neighborhood that is walkable to a lot of restaurants, shops, and the beach. The place was perfect for a couple with more than enough space, a really cute layout, and an outdoor patio which made the space feel even larger. Delaney was so great with communicating with us and being so accommodating! Honestly one of the best Airbnb experiences I have ever had! 10/10 experience.

We had an excellent stay and cannot say enough good things about our stay! The location is perfect, so much to do within walking distance. You really cannot beat the location of this house. We utilized the optional golf cart rental and it was ready and waiting for us which was so convenient. Lisa was such a friendly and responsive host who answered all of our questions quickly. This place is exactly what a beach house should be, cozy and comfortable with an excellent location!

Talai was very helpful. The rental exceeded expectations. Great Value. Perfect for myself, my wife our young adult children and even my elderly father. The rental is newly renovated. Professionally designed. And, even set up for a working vacation. Would most certainly accomodate up to 8. But, up to 5 is comfortable. The owners even had beach toys available for responsible use. Walking distance to public beach access. But, at southern tip..... it is very private. All of the "action" is about 10-20 minute drive up the Isle. This was a beautiful place. I loved the handcrafted decor. It felt personal and very much like what I might put together for a beach house of my own. Everything was as described and the location was absolutely unbeatable when it comes to beach access and ease of getting to local grocery stores and restaurants.

This was a perfect retreat for me and my daughters during our visit to Myrtle beach. The house was lovely and welcoming, it was well appointed with everything we needed, was comfortable, quiet and only a 3-5 minute walk to the beach! Anne was very friendly and responsive. I feel grateful for our time here.

Sue's house was cute and comfortable! She supplied everything we needed. There is a nice park across the street. There are plenty of things to do in the area. We will kind her house in mind next time we travel to Wilmington.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The entire family commented on how much it felt like we were walking into our own small apartment. We appreciated the clean interior, fresh bright paint, and all of the amenities in the space and around the neighborhood. Thanks for making our family vacation memorable.

Loved it! Especially the hot tub. It was so relaxing after spending the day chasing around 5 kids at the beach. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be booking again in the future.

The place was cozy and had many amenities/toiletries already stocked. The fenced in backyard was private and the Einstein lights were a nice touch. It was well decorated and close to lots of fun places. The hosts were extremely helpful and had great hospitality. Would come again!

My family and I had a wonderful time staying at AfterDuneDelight! This little beach bungalow has a very welcoming and homey atmosphere. It was very clean and well organized. We loved that the beach was only a short walk away from the house! It also was in the perfect location to drive to other places like Southport or Caswell beach. The host, Courtney, was very kind and responsive in answering any inquiries we had during our stay. Highly recommend spending your Oak Island beach trip at AfterDuneDelight!

Perfect location between the beach and downtown. This is our second time staying here and it's always a pleasure. Clean, private and the AC works very well!

Kolleen’s place was fantastic and exactly what we (2 adults, 2 kids ages 4,6 and 2 dogs) needed and beyond. The kitchen is perfectly stocked and the floor plan is open so there was plenty of room to set up our two crates for the dogs and walk and play. The decor feels like a modern bungalow and works very well with the interior. The bedrooms are situated perfectly with the master bedroom on the other side of the house from the two other bedrooms, where the kids were. Having a king in the master and not a queen bed is for some reason, hard to find. Even with a little rain, there was plenty to do inside the cozy cottage along with smart TVs that are actually large enough to sit back and watch. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and appliances and TUPPERWARE, another big bonus for a rent imo. There is also already a few items and seasonings in the cabinets which was a bonus as we cooked all our meals. We will def be returning to Kolleens place!
