House holiday rentals in Iowa City

The house was just as described in the listing, very clean and comfortable. Our teens loved the finished basement and we all loved the pool, backyard and patio! We highly recommend this property!

We came prepared to make food and beverages for a grandchild’s graduation. Kitchen was well stocked and I didn’t need most of my gear. Kitchen and bathroom linens were stocked and ready to go! Even beach towels if you wanted to go to the pool. Very nice and comfortable little home. All on one floor good for those who have limited mobility. We couldn’t be more pleased for what we needed. The fire pit and outdoor furniture was a bonus area for the guys who didn’t want to hang out with the cooks!

Our family had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! You can tell it was once a Treasured home of the owner and they are very gracious to share it with people who need a large space near Iowa city! We could easily sleep our party of 11 with the bed configurations available and everyone had the privacy they needed. There are multiple living spaces off a very centralized kitchen, which makes for great space to be together but also have some personal space. The pool table and game room was so much fun and the pool and hot tub were such great amenities. We were able to park four cars without blocking anyone and it is a quick drive into Iowa city, probably about 12 to 15 minutes… seems to be halfway between the Cedar Rapids Airport, and Iowa city itself. For graduation weekend staying here was more affordable and more comfortable than 3 to 4 hotel rooms by far! Which would’ve been more expensive. So overall, a wonderful value.

Seth was amazing and very easy to work with. The house and property were very beautiful. House was very clean and cant forget about the lovable cat that enjoyed the weekend with us around the bonfire. I would highly recommend this house/property for family gatherings etc! Dylan's place was just as described - good space and amenities. The fenced backyard and deck were great. It was very close to local coffee shops/diners and had all we needed for a weekend away.

June Anne's place was absolutely beautifully! It was exactly as described, extremely clean and wonderfully decorated. It was the perfect place for us to stay while visiting family in the area. June Anne thought of everything. I would definitely stay here again!

Loved our stay!! The house was comfortable and very clean. We loved all the extra things that were provided, pop corn, coffees, teas, shampoos, conditioners. Great place to come home to and relax. My boys loved watching the horse and buggies going by from the front porch. Thank you for being so accommodating to our family. Hope to visit this place again soon!

I loved my stay at the Ohana house! I'm very grateful to Rebecca for having her lovely place listed on AirBNB and for allowing me the opportunity to stay there. It was in a great location, easy to get in, had many amenities and streaming services on the TV. Overall, I had an amazing stay.

Great location and great host! We had to book this house at the last minute, and Greg was very responsive. He was also flexible to give us a late check out when that was really needed. Overall, the house was perfect for our needs and we would stay there again.

We felt right at home as soon as we walked into Luke's place. Very thoughtfully furnished, decorated, and outfitted. The beds might be the most comfortable we've ever slept in, certainly at an Airbnb. During an extreme heat wave, the AC kept up and the ceiling fans were a nice add-on. This may be an oddly picky thing to notice, but I really appreciated that the lighting was good. A lot of Airbnbs have harsh LED or fluorescent bulbs. This lighting was warm and soft. The location makes for easy access to all major thoroughfares to get around town, yet it's an extremely quiet block. The house feels nestled in trees. Also walkable to downtown. Can't recommend this place highly enough!

Brady's place was GREAT! The house is decorated so nicely and the beds were super comfy. It was the best slept I had gotten in a LONG time! Brady was so accommodating and very quick to respond! I 10/10 recommend staying here! You will not be disappointed! Thanks for a safe, comfortable place to stay during our baseball tournament!

Perfect house to stay in while visiting the Amana colonies. This house is clean, comfortable and has everything you need for a short or extended stay.

This was by far one of the best Airbnb places we have stayed at! The house was amazing, the hosts were so kind, everyone felt at home, and not cramped while getting ready for my son’s wedding. The retro decor of the place made me wax nostalgic of my childhood! The dead-end street gave us a quiet, private place where we could be comfortable and there were baby deer everywhere to ooh and ah at! We definitely will be back when needing to stay in Iowa again!

The place was exactly as described. Perfect for a group, there was a lot of sleeping areas and sitting areas. The back deck and patio were great with a nice view. Perfect location for visiting the Amana colonies and was nice the winery was next door within walking distance! Hosts were great to communicate with! Everything was clean!

This is an excellent Airbnb! I came to town with some friends and it provided ample space for us to gather or retreat to our own large bedrooms. Everything was walkable or a short Uber ride away. The communication was clear and prompt. I’ll definitely be booking again for future visits to Iowa City.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is very cute, beautifully appointed and quiet. Most importantly it was super clean! The beds are comfortable and we were appreciative of the nice linens and towels. Kenneth and Cathy were easy to communicate with and so pleasant to work with. Check in and out was easy. The location is perfect, easy to get to everything. We hope that we are able to stay here again when we visit Cedar Rapids!
