We absolutely loved our stay here and will definitely come back!!!!! We ate at the Pea Patch one evening and listened to some great live music Nearby grocery store was also very friendly and had everything we needed. Our dogs also loved the place as well :)

We have stayed at Momma’s Haven 3 times now! Tara is an extremely kind and generous host. Her place is comfortable, in walking distance to downtown and the trail, and is clean. Thank you Tara for accommodating our family once again.

Our stay at the Yeti house was great for our family! The home is a central location to all the great hikes and waterfalls the area has to offer. Everything was well stocked in the kitchen in addition to other household amenities. We enjoyed the retro vibes while playing the record player and video games at night. The home has a warm, historic feel so the floors and doors can be a bit loud in the morning while others are still sleeping. Other than that, everything was well maintained, updated, and has great water pressure. Thanks for a great stay!!!

My wife, dog and I stayed a week over the winter to get out of the city. Great place right on Lake Superior and next to the porkies. The Finnish sauna on the beach is unreal. We had such a blast we rented the place in the summer. Would highly recommend.

The house was perfect! Close to the trails! Loved the rooms, washer and dryer, and the kitchen was equipped with everything I need! Kristy was very pleasant to work with

Jon's place was great for me and my wife with our 2 small dogs. we were the first renters of the season and there wasn't any coffee, so Jon immediately gave me a $15 refund. great directions for hiking trails, nice quiet place and great location for visiting the Apostle islands. we would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful place and location. We loved the cabin’s kitschy personality. Yes the stairs are steep but we were anticipating that based on other reviews. It worked out fine for us. We had small dogs with us that were carried up and down the stairs when went to bed in the evening. Couple small things would have made the stay a little more comfortable. A few board games for rainy days. A couple basic cooking items like oil, sugar and garlic powder. The pillows are pretty beat up and could use replacing. All of these things are pretty easily overlooked though for the location alone. Woodsy and magical and so close to Big Bay Town Park. We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend in this beautifully crafted cabin.

This place was wonderful, lots of room, very peaceful area, beautiful view of the lake. Beds comfortable, electric fireplace romantic. Furniture comfortable, loved the screened in sun porch. Kitchen could have used a steak knife set and a bigger bowl to make a salad in, I did not find any. Just soup/cereal bowls. Close to fantastic bike trails. The grill on porch was nice and easy to use. I would definitely recommend staying here.

We loved our stay on Turtle Lake at Lindsey’s place. We had 4 adults and 2 dogs. It was exactly like the photos and descriptions, spotlessly clean kitchen and bathrooms with cozy bedrooms. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a number of meals. The grill had extra propane just in case. We took advantage of renting their brand new pontoon and enjoyed sunsets on the lake. The property was private and perfect for relaxing with our pups. All of the toiletries, soap, garbage bags, and cleaning supplies were well stocked which made it so easy to enjoy a week long stay without having to run to the store. We will definitely be back and hope to enjoy their home again next year! Thank you Lindsey & Jamie!

A true cabin in the woods feel. Very quiet and private. We visited to go to the porcupine mountains and other nearby natural areas, of which there are many. We visited for memorial day and tried mountain biking on the trails, but the ones we found coming off of the nearby parking lot around powderhorn mountain were not well maintained and seemed to be better suited to winter skiing and fat biking, however we didn't try Wolverine trails which might be better. There are neighbors not too far away but when you're at the cabin you wouldn't know it. Definitely a rustic stay with the composting toilet and no shower, cell signal is spotty, but that can be a good thing for disconnecting. The cabin is well equipped and everything is very usable and well maintained. Chuck, the host, is very responsive.

From the moment we pulled up to the cabin, it was fantastic. We rented it for a late-season family get-a-way. We're not big winter outdoors people and Jenna's place accommodated that beautifully. We made good use of the game room, spent a lot of time sitting in front of the fire, and took a day trip into Hurley/Ironwood to visit local shops. I recommend Sharon's coffee in Hurley if you're a coffee snob like us. I also enjoyed the European imports shop and Ollie's (very amusing store) in Ironwood. The wildlife was great, so many photos ops! And I truly appreciate a tidy space, yet this place exceeded expectations. 10 out of 10 would stay here again!

We so enjoyed our stay at Corey's lakefront cabin! The cabin itself is so well built and has been recently remodeled. It's a family cabin and you truly felt like you are staying in someone's well stocked home. All the little extras you need for cooking (oils and SO many spices) and more. The bed was comfy and the surroundings were so quiet and peaceful. Located just under a half hour from town and close to the end of a long road, there was absolutely no traffic. We so enjoyed long evening walks and seeing the deer scamper through the forest. But you didn't have to leave the cabin to see deer as they made daily visits. Our favorite spot was out on the dock where the sunsets were often mirrored on the water and you could hear the loons calling at night. It truly is a special place!

Had a great stay! Angie was extremely responsive and the place was beautiful. I’ll definitely consider staying again.
