Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Ísafjarðarbær

We had a fantastic, once in a lifetime experience at Leslie and Greg's home! Everything about this home and our visit was magical - Leslie was a lovely and gracious host who was happy to share some of her favorite places with us. We enjoyed our cozy room and the lovely large bathroom, and the full kitchen and comfortable common space. The surroundings are wild and breathtaking, we enjoyed seal watching on the beach and we even saw an Arctic fox! I highly recommend staying with Leslie and Greg, I certainly hope I can go back to stay again someday.

The most magical, wonderful place I’ve ever been! The photos can’t even capture it. The views were like nothing else I’ve seen and Leslie gave great recommendations. Her and Greg created such an incredible getaway and you’ll feel like you’re at the edge of the world.

I’ve traveled to over 25 countries and decided to book this house on my 3rd trip to Iceland. It’s easily in the top 5 of locations I’ve stayed. The scenery and peacefulness surrounding by birds and flowers to the towering fjords above. The drive from Reykjavik is long, but using the ferry can cut down driving time. There is a variety of hikes, waterfalls, and small towns with grocery stores and gas. I will return here someday.

We stayed at Leslie and Greg's place during a bikepacking trip of the Westfjords. It was so comfortable and clean and a fantastic break from the tent and the cold nights. It was great to have use of the shared kitchen to prepare some food. Exactly as described and with seals on the beach a short walk from th house. Leslie and Greg were extremely friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended!

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Haus von Jona ist sehr gemütlich, hat allen Komfort und nach einer Wanderung in der Nähe von Nupur konnten wir im Whirlpool super entspannen! Es ist eine sehr empfehlenswerte Ausgangslage für Ausflüge in die Westfjorde (Dynjandi etc). Und wir fanden es besser als auf den Fotos dargestellt….

We absolutely loved this house. The house is a historic landmark that has been completely remodeled with gorgeous airy rooms, huge windows looking out over the fjord, and golden hardwood floors. We cooked several meals in the well stocked kitchen. The charming back garden provided a lovely patio. The location was superb. There were a few good places to eat, wonderful walking, and a slice of small village life. We easily traveled to Isafjordur for various adventures. The hosts were lovely and responsive. We had a hard time leaving this house! I especially loved chopping vegetables in the kitchen while looking out on the harbor and main street. Added bonus: the washer and dryer worked great.

Absolutely stunning place, view and all. The accommodation was very spacious and cozy. The hottube was perfect after a nice hike. And the location was just 20 mins from the biggest city in the west fjords. Would recommend and might even have yo say again💕
