Amazing Place to Stay on Keauhou Bay! Pool/AC!

MikeRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Great space for my wife and I and our four adult children. Loved the ability to walk to bay to paddle board. Kona country club golf was 5 minutes away and a fantastic experience for me and my two sons. AC in the house worked extremely well. Pool was a popular afternoon spot. Wi-Fi was good and helped for the unfortunate times I had to log into work. Close to grocery store and restaurants. Overall a great home base for exploring the Big Island!

One bedroom studio (private)

We had a wonderful stay and the place is very cute. It's on the smaller side...but squeaky clean and had anything and everything one might need during their short stay. Wifi was great and very fast which was a big relief because we didn't have cell phone service in the area.

Spectacular Ocean View & Peace

SuzyRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Peaceful Hale exceeded expectations! We stayed for a week with friends, using it as a base for day trips. I wish we’d stayed here longer instead of 2 nights in Volcano (though Volcano Treehouse was unique!). The outdoor showers, spacious lanai, and serene surroundings were highlights. It’s near activities yet away from big resorts. Kalia was incredibly helpful, offering advice before and during our stay. Her beautiful garden was an added treat. Mahalo for an amazing experience! Travel Tips: - Arrive early for public parking at Mauna Kea Resort beach. I lucked out going at 4PM. There can be construction noise. - Happy Hour at Seafood Bar & Grill - Waimea: Weds/Sat farmers markets; GJ’s Huli Huli chicken on Sat/Sun by Kamuela Liquor; Sandwich Isle Bread Company; get reservations for lunch/dinner at Merriman’s, get provisions at Long’s. - Great snorkeling at Beach 69, Puako Bay, and Māhukona Beach Park - Food trucks with shave ice, coffee, and malasadas are at Rt. 19 and Puako Beach Dr.

Nice private clean place. Plenty of space. Well maintained. Plenty of towels and blankets. A helpful book about the big island. We also enjoyed using some of the snorkeling equipment in the garage. Overall great experience!

Definitely the best location in Hilo we've stayed at! Walking across the street to the ocean was simply amazing. Views are stunning. Perfect house for two families with adult children (total of 9 people). LOVED IT!

4BR Paradise Oasis w/ Stunning Ocean Views

JaneRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Christine’s house was spotless! We appreciated the added touches that made our stay more comfortable. We made good use of the snorkeling equipment. We loved the cozy decks that faced the ocean. It’s an unusual, beautiful three-level house. We were glad that we had Jeeps to go up and down the steep driveway.
