The APPI Snow Mountain Resort area has shops, restaurants, and convenience stores, and there is also a supermarket about 20 minutes away by car. There are also great hot spring areas such as Matsukawa Onsen, and Hachimantai Ski Resort and Shimokura Ski Resort are also nearby. It is a cool highland area at an altitude of 900 m, so you can enjoy the natural air conditioning in the summer and a comfortable stay in the warm rooms in the winter. About a 5-minute drive to the nearest ski resort (Hachimantai Resort Panorama Ski Resort).Abi Kogen Ski Resort is 20-30 minutes in the summer and 30-40 minutes in the winter (about 18 kilometers). Dragon Eye can be accessed in about 30 minutes to the pass in return where you can park your car. Regarding your car, we recommend that you come by 4WD car when using it in winter, such as skiing/snowboarding, because it is a snowy area. For two-wheel drive/FF vehicles, it may be better to bring a chain depending on the model, so please contact us in advance if you are concerned. We cannot recommend two-wheel drive/FR vehicles, but please be sure to bring a chain.
