The strolling garden across the street, just a 1-minute walk away, is said to have been called the “Oyakuen” because it was used to grow medicinal herbs for Morioka Castle. Located right in front of it, this house displays a sign that reads “Oyakuenmae,” and began offering private lodging in April 2026. Taking advantage of the 50-year-old building, we have renovated it into a space that honors the past while creating something new.
