Located just 8 miles from the town of Mountain View where you can take part in our many local festivals, listen to music, or just check out the beautiful Ozark Mountains.

Our cabin is located in a beautiful, peaceful valley and backs up on the White River with a spectacular view of the towering majestic Handford bluff. Guests are often treated to glimpses of wildlife, including bald eagles soaring above the bluff and river. The interior of the cabin is a cozy yellow pine and oak hardwood floors. The cabin is spacious at approximately 1600 square feet. Guests can choose to relax in the shade near the water, swim or fish. Peace is the order of the day!

Nestled among the Oaks/Pines/Dogwoods, the cabin offers electricity, running water (cold/seasonal), 2 single beds, basic kitchen items, ceiling fan & A/C (seasonal) & an electric fireplace. A fire pit & grills are available (propane & charcoal). The outhouse is only a few steps away from the cabin, attached outdoor heated shower. Space for your boat. Pets Allowed w/fee.

Calico Bluff American Cabin

Our cabin sits on a bluff about 60-80 feet above the White River with a beautiful view from back deck! This deck is literally on the edge of the bluff! 180 degree view of river and beautiful pasture across river from cabin. Our cabin is one of three that sit fairly secluded on land with private road. We own the middle cabin & 6.6 acres around and across gravel road from it. Signage alerts public they are trespassing. Very quiet.

House Sleeps 10. Downstairs studio, full bed, futon couch, love seat, patio, bathroom. kitchen. Main floor kitchen, living room, fireplace, sun room, queen bed, 3 sleeper sofas, washer dryer, kitchen, deck, home faces White River, patio, We prefer no animals exceptions must discuss ahead of booking. 50 year old home - double pane windows have lost seal.
