Peaceful and quiet environment

The host was perfection personified, insisted on offering dinner, had delicious home style food. More than the taste it was the involvement & intent that made the food outstanding. Got a gift to. Loved the ambience. Will definitely visit again.

River Forest Meditation Retreat

Vivek SainathRating, 5 stars3 months ago
I recently had the incredible opportunity to stay in a charming mud house nestled in forest and it was an experience that left me feeling both rejuvenated and deeply connected to nature. If you’re looking for a retreat that allows you to reconnect with nature and recharge your spirit, this mud house near the forest is the perfect place. It’s an experience that goes beyond just a place to stay—it’s a chance to reconnect with yourself and the world around you in a way that’s hard to find anywhere else. Time with Niranjan just flows as the river by the place. Although it’s tough to visit this place from Hyderabad, I’m gonna make sure I’m there couple of times a year at least.

Home Away from Home!

SuryaRating, 5 stars4 months ago
It was a pleasure staying in Ameya’s place and I had a great time with his parents…They were quite considerate, friendly and helpful. I had the pleasure of viewing some beautiful paintings done by his father and warm hospitality and care from both his parents. Tasted a flavoursome pickle and jam, made by his mother! She made an early morning coffee too, before I started my travel. Nice people to mingle with and a safe, calm and decent property for solo and family travellers! Worth staying 😊

Parking, AC, Western Toilet, Wi-Fi, Basic Kitchen

To be very honest, when we first saw the place, we were almost disappointed. And were very skeptical whether we have reached the correct place, the nameplate notwithstanding.. Nevertheless, we were put at ease by the warm welcome awarded by Shitij and his cute little chubby nephew. About the place first. The rooms are large, with large beds, and wardrobes. The common area (hall, if you wish to call it that) is quite big. The bathrooms too are bright and clean – as were the towels. The linen was fresh. The air-conditioning in the rooms was very effective, even when the temperature outside crossed 40 degrees C! The kitchen is minimalistic, yet functional – but no gas, so cant use it for cooking (we didn’t need to, anyways). An operational washing machine is a plus!! The balcony is a great place to conversation in the late evening.. The fact that this place runs on solar-powered electricity will highly assuage the green enthusiast and eco-conscious traveler. Now for the softer and more important part of the place. The vibes of this place were very positive. Found it spacious. 8 of us stayed here and yet not for a second we felt uncomfortable on any count whatsoever. It is rather conveniently located (walking distance) in terms of access to stores/eateries. Which, to us, with four children with varying needs, was extremely beneficial. The host was very polite at all times and extremely helpful to us. He was always available whenever needed, including quite late in the evening. He was gracious enough to guide and help us in arranging for all the other stuff – taxis/ places to see/ places to visit/ restaurants to eat from, etc. Having stayed in multiple B&Bs over the last 5-6 years, am impressed with what this option offers. Overall, apart from a very good stay here, will rate this place a very high value for the money we spent. The only point of improvement that I would like to suggest to the host is – to keep a standing mop in the bathroom, for the benefit of those who like to keep their bathrooms completely dry at all times.
