Take it easy at this unique country cabin. Breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and farmland. Soak in the outside bath. Close to Lake Hāwea hiking and biking trails. Boating and Cardrona and treble cone ski fields. The township of Wanaka with its many award winning restaurants and cafes is only 20km away. The cabin is warm and cozy, sunny, wood burner & heat pump. location is nestled between Grandview and Lake Hāwea station. We have no light pollution making for incredible stargazing.

Welcome to "The Cookhouse". Suituated a short 20 minute drive south of Haast, Hannahs Clearing is a small township established in 1962 to house workers the Carters Sawmill. The historic Cookhouse was built to cook for workers at the Mill, which eventually closed in 1979. The house sits in amongst native plantings on the beach side of the road, with access to the beach. Cosy Studio Close to Town

Self contained studio located a short four minute walk from town and lake front. The studio is separate from the house with its own entrance and ensuite bathroom. There are tea, coffee and toast making facilities, a small fridge however there is no kitchen. Many great cafes, bars and restaurants are located close by. The room sleeps three people in two beds, each with an electric blanket. There is a queen bed and a king single bed. Off street parking on site.
