Highly recommend Jade City stop! Kendra was so sweet and wonderful to me as I arrived a weary traveler dealing with road closures etc! So grateful for their wonderful inn! Thank you Kendra!

This is my second time staying in one of the jade city cabins. This is by farrrrrr my favorite place on the cassiar highway (and the entire drive) to stay. Great gift shop, friendly staff, super clean and comfy cabin, dog friendly! Can’t say enough great things about it! They even offered to knock on my door to wake me up if the northern lights were out. Highly recommend. Will stay here again and again.

The doghouse was the perfect spot for us to stay with our two fur babies on our way from the lower 48 to Alaska. We'd had to divert our original route along highway 97 due to a wild fire, thank goodness the dog house was available! This was one of our favorite spots we stayed at on this trip. The little fenced in yard was great for our pups too!

I'm not trying to be hyperbolic when I say that I think this is the best AirBnB my wife and I have ever stayed at. The home-cooked meal was exactly what we needed on our long road trip full of junk food. Kristy was so nice and easy to talk to, while still respecting our privacy. The tent is pretty secure, and the space heater worked well, so you felt nice and at home inside. But the best part was definitely the hot tub. It was so relaxing to sit in that warm water with the beautiful lakeside view. I think this is a steal-of-a-deal for what you pay for! If we ever come around this side of BC again, we will for sure be booking here again.

The Jade city motel was the perfect place to stay on my trip to Alaska from California. It was relieving to have a nice clean and safe place to sleep after a 12 hour drive and have access to wifi to tell my loved ones I was safe. The restroom was very clean and the shower was piping hot (yay). When I woke up the next morning to the beautiful mountains, I enjoyed a nice cup of joe on the porch and ate the food provided and I was ready to continue on my journey! If you’re looking for a place to stay on the arduous journey that is the Cassiar highway, this is the one!

Kristy’s cabin is nothing short of incredible we have stayed at so many Airbnb‘s over the years and this is our absolute favorite. The setting is unbelievable, you look right out at the mountains and onto the lake. You can take a canoe ride on this beautiful little lake if you would like Kristy made the most delicious stew and homemade bread. The dinner was first class. She is an incredible host and it’s obvious that she puts her heart and soul into being a host. If you are thinking about booking here, it is worth the drive, you will not be disappointed
