The Synninlukko Nature Park with its many hiking trails is only about 20 km away. The old Witose canoeing route is also in Jämsä. Hallin town center and the beach are within a 10-minute walk. In the center there is a restaurant, a good K-store with postal services, an ATM and a pharmacy.
