Beachfront holiday rental in Jan Thiel

This place is a gem and real joy to stay in! The house was beautiful and location was wonderful. Communication from before booking upon until departure was top notch and made for a stress free stay. Would definitely stay here or Marcels other properties again!

Excellent place, very comfortable, the deck and private beach were very useful to have some mates in the morning and organize the day. The kitchen was very complete and everything worked. I would definitely come back a thousand times. The things I asked, they answered me immediately. 100% recommended

The place was great! Everything was clean and matched the pictures! The only thing was, its close to a busy road and there were a lot of loud cars on the weekend but otherwise it was very close to Jan Thiel beach and not far from everything else! Being on the bay, the breeze felt amazing with the doors open and the air conditioning was nice to help sleep. The recommendations were helpful when choosing a place to eat. Thank you!

Beautiful location, beautiful, spacious, clean apartment!

Location close to Jan Thiel beach, shops and restaurants but you need a car to get around. Very private setting, quiet neighborhood. Suzy was very approachable and helpful. We enjoyed the stay.

Our stay in this apartment was really fantastic and felt like coming home. The location was ideal: only 10 minutes from Hato airport, 5 minutes from Willemstad and 30 minutes from Bandabou, exactly what we were looking for. The accommodation exceeded all our expectations; everything was almost new, tastefully decorated, sparkling clean and excellently cared for. The host was particularly helpful and friendly which made our stay even more enjoyable. It felt like coming home but in the Caribbean. I can definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for peace, relaxation and comfort in a beautiful, comfortable environment, close to all amenities.

We had a great experience in the Hosting, the hotel is close to the healing center. The hostess welcomed us very well and we helped with several tips about the region. The kitchen of our room served us very well to make our breakfast.

We spent four nights here with our two children, ages 7 and 12, and had a wonderful stay. They especially loved the swimming pool and snorkeling at Blue Bay Beach. The apartment was very clean, spacious, and even larger than it appears in the photos. The decor is tasteful, and the view is beautiful. We felt very safe in the neighborhood, and there was a supermarket conveniently nearby. Gina, the host, was warm and welcoming. We really appreciated the late check-out and all her great recommendations for dining and activities. The only downside was that the internet was slow and coverage a bit spotty. Overall, it’s a very family-friendly area, and we would definitely recommend it for families.

This is a beautiful property in a developing neighborhood that is a short walk to Mambo Beach. We traveled as a family of four from Chicago and it was nice to have the amenities and space of the home while still being able to enjoy the beach and local restaurants, nearby. We loved the pool and backyard living space! Roy is a fantastic host - highly responsive, easy to work with, and knowledgeable. We would absolutely recommend this property!

Great host gave a lot info about the island and things to do. Was very helpful, also recommended rental car service.

We absolutely loved our week at Donna's condo. The view of Spanish Harbor was gorgeous, and having the pool directly in front of the condo was great for our 7yr old. We were able to watch him swim from the patio while enjoying the view of the sea. Donna is exceptionally communicative, which made the stay even better. She was even nice enough to bring fishing supplies for our son! He caught 2 snappers and a grunt from the docks on the property. They were delicious! Donna tells us that she plans to continue renovating the unit as time allows (the kitchen has already been done and it suited our cooking needs perfectly), which should make for an even more comfortable stay. We hope to return soon!

I was blown away by our whole experience! Before our trip we had a very responsive host explaining things about the amenities and how to get to the location plus some local tips. On arrival at the resort, we were met by a very friendly young man that drove us to the exact appartement. He explained everything about the spotless appartement and gave us some local tips. Those guides are also present in a booklet at the location. We were treated to a nice bottle of white wine! Appartement is all you can wish for, i am not kidding. Its like a 20m walk from the pool, 50m from the ocean! Theres lizards and Iguana around and overal the garden is very well maintained. The buildings and beach have a very exclusive feel to them, certainly compared to other touristy beaches like Mambo. There are some nights with music on the beach which makes you really feel like you are on a tropical island without a worry on your mind. Music stops at 10 , there are no loud youngsters partying or anything.

Our stay at Blue Bay Village was nothing short of excellent! Xavier’s villa is exactly as described - literally steps from the pool and a short walk to a beautiful beach!! The deck is beautiful and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook our own meals. The free parking and beach access were big perks of this Airbnb!! Xavier was a wonderful host and was very responsive whenever we had a question. There are plenty of beach towels and US outlets. Additionally, the villa is a short drive from multiple grocery stores and the city of Willemstad. It was a perfect place for me and my two girlfriends to stay for the week - we felt safe and comfortable here. Highly recommend!!! :)

I really enjoyed my stay at this listing. The place was bigger than I had originally anticipated which was great! It was super clean and had great views! Shore Management did a great job with their instructions and were very quick to respond. I would definitely recommend staying at this location or their other listings! Spacious unit, gorgeous view, fully equipped, and plenty of storage for clothes. The kitchen in particular was much more complete than any rentals we have stayed in previously. It came with a cooler, beach towels and she even went out to get us fold-able beach chairs for beach hopping. It is situated in the Blue Bay resort which has free lounges at the beach, a pool, golfing, tennis, and restaurants. Monique went out of her way to make sure all of our needs were met. We would definitely return again.

This apartment was so amazing. It was modern, clean and had everything you need…. Plus a hundred other things you didn’t even know you needed (shopping bags, pool noodles, coolers and ice packs, snorkel, water shoes, bug spray - there’s so many thoughtful inclusions that I can’t name them all). Upon check-in we received full videos on how to operate everything (first time I have ever received this and it was extremely helpful). Having two bathrooms in one apartment was such a nice bonus. Beautiful master walk-in closet (I wish I stayed long enough to actually use it!). The balcony was the biggest balcony I have ever seen. There was a full dining table, two lounge chairs and still a ton of leftover outdoor space. I will 100% stay here if I ever return.

We absolutely loved this villa! So cute and perfect views and the pool was amazing. Didn’t expect it to be deep and it was amazing! Fully stocked kitchen was perfect for the week and even things like floaters and googles and beach things for our excursions.

The place was in a great location with lots of great restaurants, check in and communication was great and we truly enjoyed the quiet pool. Will definitely stay here again.

I am so glad that I chose this accommodation. It is centrally located, so you can drive anywhere. Supermarket and gas station close by and the center and mambo beach is quick and easy to reach. Upon arrival, the air conditioning turned out to be broken and this was quickly and well resolved. Super satisfied!!! I had also rented the car from them for my entire stay and also great, because of this I was also picked up from the airport and also taken back to the airport. I have nothing negative to say about the apartment. Everything was also provided. I would definitely go back here the next time I go to Curaçao!
